I love my Twelve South, wasn't cheap getting here to Australia and the woeful exchange rate now, but it goes perfectly with my Space Black Apple Watch.
I did have the Nomad on order but cancelled that after they changed the design and the continuing shipping delays.
The Twelve South is just a quality piece of gear!

Can you fold the stand for traveling?

OK, so I am NOT going thru these posts

Has anyone actually seen or used the Premium One W3 or W2?
Their website states its height adjustable, does that mean the Lightning connector can be raised or lowered to accommodate cases and such? :)

Heavy Stand

Hello, can anyone suggest an Apple Watch dock or stand that has a heavy base and it's not made of wood? The popular Spigen and Orzly stands bases doesn't look heavy and stable. Please advise. Thanks.

I'm putting double-sided tape on the bottom of my Spigen when I'm done customizing it. It doesn't have to be heavy - you just don't want it moving.
Now, that wouldn't be good if you want to travel with it. :)

Here's my Nomad Space Gray I picked up at best buy. I'm liking it.

I'm in the process of modding my Spigen stand with a few inexpensive things from Hobby Lobby. I've already added some adhesive-back black felt on the Spigen base to keep my Milanese band from getting scratched against it. I'm going to glue the birch wood slab as a base to provide more weight/stability, but I think I'll varnish/shellac it first before I do it. Add some non-slip rubber feet, and it should work great.

I bought the twelve south Apple watch stand, silver. It's really nice, sturdy and a clean design

The $50 price tag is pricey but if I'm putting my $600 watch on it every night it's worth a few extra bucks for a quality stand

got my nomad dock yesterday for $35. its alright, i definitely never in a million years would ever pay $70 for it but it is nice and heavy. finish could be a bit better, and packaging is nice, although theres only one piece of small peelable plastic covering half the base on the bottom when you open it, thought that was cheap.

Wow! that's really nice! Any chances you are selling these?

Hah, Unfortunately not. The material alone would make it not worth the cost, but I'm glad you guys like it. Our 3D Division put this together with my input, so I can't take all the credit.

I travel a lot for work, so this would be idea. Especially for holding an a set of headphones. If it had space for a couple extra bands I'd pull the trigger.

But, read careful..like many flat chargers, it won't work with all bands.

I wondered if anyone else was looking at this case/had one already, as I've got one on order. I wanted a dual phone/watch stand, and I too liked that it can travel easily and has room inside for cables/headphones. I'll let you know when I get mine if extra bands can fit inside too, but I've no idea when I'll get it.

The Orzly one is quite secure, it's got a wider base than the spigen one so it would take quite a bit of force to make fall over.
