Hmmm, I have the Spigen stand and mine is open on the right side. I'm right handed and this works well for me. Maybe I have it backwards

Oops! Yes, my mistake. I actually meant the Nomad stand. I really like the look of it, and the cord management, but dislike that it is open on the left rather than the right.

What I disliked about the Spigen was only the sloppy-looking cord management.

Yes, the Spigen actually has no cord management. I just let the cable dangle behind the dresser it sits on. That's the same thing I do with everything.

I love my Twelve South, wasn't cheap getting here to Australia and the woeful exchange rate now, but it goes perfectly with my Space Black Apple Watch.
I did have the Nomad on order but cancelled that after they changed the design and the continuing shipping delays.
The Twelve South is just a quality piece of gear!

Just got one too in silver! I work at an apple retailer so I got a pretty good discount. I'm still waiting on my watch but pictures soon! It seriously feels so nice I love it already

Was thinking today that I need to order a stand and to see if it was actually something I wanted, fabbed this up. Weller soldering iron holder and some electrical tape to hold the charger in place. Now I want something a little more attractive....

I think it would depend on the band but the part where a band would touch is made of leather! I didn't realize it until I bought it...great touch.

Stand Update

I just received this stand, only got it because it was so cheap. I got it for half off (by purchasing a band with it) so I only had to pay $5.50 Canadian! It appears the seller has now raised the price on it though, because it is now listed for $19.99 (bought it on Amazon.ca from seller 'JETech').

My review: The cord keeps popping out of the channel so I had to put a zip tie around it to hold it in and I also added a bit of Velcro to the bottom of the apple mag charger to keep that from popping out. Otherwise it works fine and does have a bit of weight to it so it does not fall over. I would NOT recommend this at the current full price, but for $5.50 you really can't go wrong!

Just got an email from the seller 'JETech' telling me the stand they sent me doesn't work (as evidenced by my review above) and they made improvements to make it work better and are going to send me a new free of charge! Hope this works better, we'll see. . Awesome customer service, I didn't even have to complain

Exactly! According to them, they had some special shipping pricing offer which hasn't come through so they have pulled orders to the UK. Not sure if that is the case for all global shipping or not, probably worth checking with them but reckon you might have the same issue.

Looking for something like this, but does not need to be wood and more importantly, does not need to be $80!!!

I'm looking for something exclusively for travel (I travel a lot). Either small or folding like this. I don't really care about looks, just size and function. I already have a cheap, small lightning iPhone clock radio I travel with, so just need something for the watch.
