I bought the twelve south Apple watch stand, silver. It's really nice, sturdy and a clean design

The $50 price tag is pricey but if I'm putting my $600 watch on it every night it's worth a few extra bucks for a quality stand

I had the same thoughts. I couldn't see spending $30 for the plastic Griffin. There just isn't anything out yet with this same quality and a lower price tag.

The lower profile is what I really wanted.

I wondered if anyone else was looking at this case/had one already, as I've got one on order. I wanted a dual phone/watch stand, and I too liked that it can travel easily and has room inside for cables/headphones. I'll let you know when I get mine if extra bands can fit inside too, but I've no idea when I'll get it.
I just got my dodo dual charger/dock. My first Dodo case. Unfortunately I do not have my watch yet so . . . can't tell you how well the fit for the induction puck is. That being said, the musky wood aroma/book binding looks very nice.

I've routed my lightning cable through the spine and now have my phone in landscape mode with the Work Time App on at night to serve as a weather/calendar/alarm/clock. I like it so far. The magnets are strong in enough to keep the wood stand in place but you do need two hands to unplug the lightning cable from your phone.

Wonder if they will ever ship the Dodocase Charging Stand . . . I ordered at the intro price and added one of their sale coupons. But wonder if it will actually ship . . .

There will be a blog post later this week from out 3D Group with the stl files available. I will link to it when it is ready.

This is a great looking stand and I'm looking forward to the files being made available. Thanks!

Cool, I glad to know it'll look nice considering its price. It'll be my first dodocase too.

Yeah seriously, dodocase is terrible at communicating, I ordered my dual phone/watch dock on the 15th of May and the only update I've gotten was on the 22nd that they're "working on it". I have no idea when it will ship or when I'll get it.

I'm in the same boat. I also check each day, hoping to find a compact dual stand. Some of the prices on stands is just ridiculous! I wouldn't mind spending a bit more if the stand comes with its own charging cable, so I could keep the one that came with my watch ready to travel, but $60-150 with a cable?? That's just crazy! IMHO;)

Some of these stands like the nomad is really nice, however is there a stand that would hold and charge both the apple watch and iPhone 6 that looks really nice? I would like to place this stand on my night stand next to my bed. I'm looking for a top notch contemporary and modern design like the nomad stand.

I know it isn't the best looking stand compared to all the awesome stuff everyone is making, but. My kids made this for me. They are 8 and 3 and they decided what kind of "stand" I needed. With a little bit of help from their Dad, they made me a Watch Charging Chest where I can store my bands under where the Watch is docked. There's still some painting to do but this is what it looks like as of now and I LOVE it!
What do you all think?

Heavy Stand

Hello, can anyone suggest an Apple Watch dock or stand that has a heavy base and it's not made of wood? The popular Spigen and Orzly stands bases doesn't look heavy and stable. Please advise. Thanks.

I bought a big micro suction sheet a while back to put a piece on the bottom of my Twelve South HiRise for my 6+. Done the same thing to my Spigen stand for the Apple Watch and it's solid as a rock.

If anyone is interested I did a video of unboxing, setup, and giving my initial impressions of the Twelve South Hi-Rise stand for the Apple Watch. Let me know what you think of the stand!

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg A few pics of my Duo Dock from Moxiware. It was a little odd to put together, no instructions were included. The front "plate" is magnetic. My anker lightening cable didn't fit through the small charging hole, had to use the apple issued cable.

Here's a few pics with the watch and phone docked. Overall I'm pretty pleased with it. The husband wants one too, but now the price has gone up to $79.99. Not sure it is worth that much, and shipping wasn't cheap. On another topic, any recommendations for clock apps? No more room for a separate alarm clock on my nightstand any longer.
