Now that manufacturers will be able to include an integral charger, I'll await round two on the apple watch stands war.
I totally agree! I'm hoping for a dual one with the charger for the watch and a place to charge my iPhone 6+ :)

Has anyone seen the WoodDesigners Apple Watch Stand? I actually absolutely love it! Here's some photos.
Reason why I like it is because is different and unlike everything else we've seen it's sturdy and heavy. Looks like you can rotate so you can make the watch on Night Stand mode as well and you can hide the cable inside it. But with the advantage of not bending the cord which when it comes to Apple Charging Cables is a no no since they break easily from the ports.
I asked Scott and Tom to see if they would work out a discount for Forum Members and they're working on it. And while they offered to send me one for review I respectfully declined given I've already got some 7-8 other stands.
How do you all like it?

Reminds me of something for a cat, like part of a scratching post. :)

I ordered the Spigen night stand, but I think this new Orzly "Mini" is gonna be the winning design for now. At $7 shipped in black, it's a no brainer, even if the ship date is a little far.

There are some lovely stands on here. I ended up going for the JTech stand.

Was surprised how small it was when it was delivered. It's heavy enough and the cable channels all work as they should.

V.Happy with it.

Just received my FŪZ Apple Watch dock.

http://fuzdesigns.com/products/fuz-dock-for-apple-watch

Quick Review:

Very small, light, fits charger perfectly. Silicone is very soft and nice to the touch, and it comes with a micro suction pad for the bottom so you can stick it virtually anywhere! (even to a wall if you wish) It also works well for either orientation.

This dock really showcases the Apple watch!

Well that sucks that you think that way. Actually Scott was going to give me one to give away here in the forums but in light that you don't seem to like it, what's the point.

Jmona, what I was wondering about that stand is if one has to take it apart in order to put the watch with the link bracelet on it? It would be fine for someone who has one of the bands which can be completely unfastened, who can simply drape the sides over the stand, but for those with the link bracelets, it would be a different situation.

You would have to remove the link off the watch for it wouldn't fit around the docking part I believe.

Still, there are a million of stands for the Watch but almost NONE för the Watch+iPhone, even though the iPhone is mandatory for the Watch!

Why is that? Retarded.

LOL - that's just me, and I (hope I) didn't say it was good or bad! Still if I didn't like it, just means more chance someone else will get it. :)

Well, I've been very happy so far with my Mophie Apple Watch Dock and will just stick with it. Works with any style of Apple watch/watch band and is also small enough for travel, too.

I changed my mind from getting the cheaper Spigen S330 to the Mophie as I thought it would be handy to charge my phone underneath. I could've done it with the Spigen too, but it was metal...

Do you find your charging bit not quite "square" relative to the stand itself? I don't know if Nightstand mode would work.

Since I am not using my Apple Watch as a nighttime alarm clock -- already have one of those on the bedside table -- I am not concerned about whether or not the Mophie would work in Nightstand Mode. Yes, I have noticed that the charging bit isn't quite squared relative to the stand itself, but as long as the thing charges properly it doesn't bother me.

I charge my iPhone separately -- have a small Blue Lounge stand that I set it on and that works fine for me, so haven't experimented with using the Mophie dock as a support for the iPhone while charging the watch. Interesting idea......

I'm wondering if anyone with the Orzly DuoStand can chime in on how their lightning cable is holding up when charging an iPhone vertically in the stand. It seems to me like it could lead to fraying since the product pictures show the cable bending at a sharp angle, and there's even a reviewer on Amazon who had that exact problem. It looks like it would be possible to feed enough cable through to give some slack and avoid this, but I would feel better if someone could confirm that.

Skylety Apple Watch Holder from Amazon for $13

Only issue I had with this is the adhesive strip that came with it was not big enough to keep the inductive disk in place. I used a 3M Command Adhesive strip instead.

JCPAL MIX Charging Bowl that I bought from Amazon (sold by Biaoge) for $13.99 USD.

Not as elegant as some of the other options out there that are made from wood or aluminum, but it is a simple and decent looking modern design. You can get it in several colors including the grey shown here. I ordered this because it was inexpensive and I couldn't quite find the perfect watch+iPhone charging stand that supports landscape (might get the Poetic though). I mainly wanted something to help manage the two charging cables and to also keep my watch from sliding off the nightstand while it is charging (this already happened ...don't ask how).

Pros: Relatively inexpensive, easy to put the watch in and take it out, does the job... can be used to manage both the watch charging cable and the iPhone charging cable (cable ties help). Grippy enough that it won't slide off the nightstand. Holds charging puck securely. You can see the entire watch face in landscape orientation, which will be great for the Watch OS2 Nightstand Mode.

Cons: Just a watch bowl... no stand or support for the iPhone. The soft rubber attracts lint and hair (you can see some of my dog's hair on the bowl).

It is designed to allow you to wrap the watch charging cable around the interior and then up through the bowl where you mount the charging puck. I also wrapped the iPhone charging cable around the interior and then wrapped the cables with a Velcro tie in the back. This allows me to hang the iPhone's Lightning cable behind the nightstand until I want to charge my iPhone.

Thanks for the link- just ordered one for myself. I've been awaiting for ElevationLabs to modify their stand since the were the first to come out with this type of design- but I said from the moment I saw it that it needed a safety ledge on it to keep the watch from falling down when pressed from the top. I think Orzly did a better job BUT, I think they made the ledge TOO big. If they had only made it half as thick and without the large upward apex curve on the very front. A more subtle ledge that only extended half the thickness of the body would have been enough I think.
