i doubt it. quality control is usually top notch with apple. and besides, you would have noticed it if its a manufacturing defect. if its still under 14 days, get it replaced.

Y’all know Ti is softer than SS right?

Lots of advantages for Ti, there is a reason some call it “gods metal”, but taking physical abuse isnt where shines

That said if you’re ruff enough on your watch that you’re scratching the Ti, how did you do without the sapphire lens on other apples?
The Stainless Steel Apple Watches have always had sapphire crystals. I have SS Black AW3 that still looks like new after spending the last 6 years on my wrist.

I really don‘t give a **** to be honest. It‘s a sports watch in the end, so I‘m not going to “baby“ it.

If I get a scratch, it is what it is.

In some ways, Apple tries to sell these things like they are priceless pieces of art. 😂

You are looking at the wrong line up if you think this.

For aesthetics, Apple is selling their SS line up, which is a Series 9 that costs the same as the Ultra 2.

The Ultra 2 is for sports.

This is an example of a Series 9 that is for aesthetics. You can make it more expensive than an Ultra 2.

So not sure why you would think Apple tries to sell the Ultra 2 as a “piece of art“, when it is a completely different product line.

I have a few scratches on the bezel and it shows that I use the watch nearly 24-7 in various areas. I love it. You'd have to really look at the watch careful to notice it.

I know this isn’t a popular solution, but I put a bumper on my ultra when I’m gardening or working in an environment where I might bump my ultra. I did this with my SS 7 as well, just because I hate scratches. It protects the edges and even helps protect the screen. The Ultra, to me, has an amazing screen and battery life, which is why it works for me. Nice to have choices. The 45mm 9 looks beautiful too, but I was also ready for a design change after so many years. Loving the watch this year and enjoy sleep tracking and using workout/phone without worrying about losing battery at the end of the day.
