thanks, would it be easy to cut that tag off or look bad if you did?
looking at that photo nike has 5 bits of velcro the trail 4
my nike has gone so weak just touching it with your pinky it comes apart

To be honest I’ve had both the regular and Nike Sport Loops which I was using a lot with my Series 5 and they’re still just as good as they were when new. They’re still not as strung as the Trail Loops though in my opinion.

Boggles my mind that BB has these in stock and Apple showing Nov-Dec deliveries. Lol smh

Yeah, I noticed that the Apple Stores in NY and Boston area, as well as many other states are now seeing stock of the AWU with trail loop band, but not the band on its own yet. Sadly WA state has nothing yet.

24 hrs old & absolutely love my Ultra & Trail Loop band. Not as big as I thought it would be & no weight at all. Coming from a series 7. Love the trail loop, so comfortable & soft. No problem sleeping in.

Yeah I saw them in BK at Williamsburg.

Several Los Angeles area stores have the AW ultra with either the blue/gray or yellow/beige trail bands in stock. (10/08/22) small/medium size only. No large or black trail bands.

All nine Chicago area Apple Stores show they will get inventory on November 16th. Hopefully my Amazon order arrives the last week of October as expected.
the Apple Watch Ultra Trail band S/M for Blue/Gray and S/M did show up in stock today 10/8/22. Chicago area did show up in stock too. I just picked up the new AW Ultra with the Blue/Gray S/M band. I returned the AW Ultra with the Alpine band ( I actually didn't like the alpine band. I also hate the ocean band on a personal level).

Hmm. I checked this morning and Black/Gray bands are still mid-November. :( Overall I am pretty happy with the Alpine and ocean (especially for working out) bands.

Glad you didn't have to wait to long to get the watch you wanted!

My black/grey Trail Loop is still showing as a delivery window of between Nov 8th and 15th. When I went to the Apple Store today to pick up my AirPods Pro 2 I asked if they had any Trail Loops in stock and the sales assistant said no and they’re expected sometime in November.

Dade and broward county has plenty AWU with trail loop for ISP at Apple pretty much all day.

Thanks for the feedback and I totally agree as I've finally got my hands on the blue/grey trail loop this morning.

As someone who has used the Nike sport loop almost every day, the trail loop feels smoother, softer and more premium.

And the blue accent really pops!

Definitely worth the wait!

Curious to know what size bands you both got and wrist sizes? Debating if I want to go smaller size or stick with the tried and true size of all my other older loops and have it towards the back of the watch. I’m wondering how the hook/loop and tab on the bottom will hold up with like rubbing against stuff like jeans, coats, and such. Just wondering if it will accidentally pull off?

155mm wrist. Size 5 solo loop. Got the trail loop in S/M and the tab is just off centre to the edge of my wrist.

The velcro feels stronger and I don't think the tab will snag onto edges/clothing that easily.

My trail loop is the small/medium. I too wear a size 5 loop and always use the small/medium sport band. It’s a little tight over my hand when putting the watch on but overall it’s great.

I have the ocean band, and if there's a way to do that I haven't been able to figure it out.
I haven’t seen ocean band in person, but it looks like it might be too stiff to thread it over the narrow bend and onto the other side of the clip.

If someone were truly worried about the Ocean band coming undone they could thread something else through the holes of the two band layers and tie it off, like twine or a twist-tie.
