Apple could and should offer free cloud Time Machine backups and storage up to 10TB (or more). That alone would be a huge selling point.

I would trust Apple with my backups way more than Google or Dropbox or iDrive and I think they are the only company that could pull off automatic cloud backups that "just work".

I don't even want to think about it - just have it work just like Time Machine.

After multiple iPhones, iPads, Mac Laptops, etc., I am sitting at 3.8TB’s of data in my iCloud. Anyone else almost maxed their storage out? I can’t just start deleting things… the vast majority of all of my data is from pictures and videos, spread out of the last 14 years.

Apple, if you’re listening… PLEASE give us higher/more storage options for iCloud!

Let me know what you think!
NEED MORE NEED MORE NEED MORE ... The world is ending on the current measly 4TB plan. Dying.

Totally starting with the 6TB, and dropping apple one. It’ll actually only be marginally more expensive, say 10-15 dollars, by doing it that way!
Out of interest what are you storing that requires that level of storage?

I store my personal and every day work files In I cloud 2TB but anything larger than that I just keep on an external drive. I think £8.99 a month is too much for the 2TB.

So it's absolutely pictures and videos for me. I take a ton, a lot... first one in June of 09' on a iPhone 3GS. I definitely use ProRes 4k30. I like the concept of spatial videos, but as for now I'm not super into the idea. I'd rather max the quality of the image first. The issue with the low iCloud storage amounts was you had a great phone, as far back as the 12, that could take amazing video, but eventually you're gonna fill it up quick if you actually go out and use it very much.

Ha just made me realise I don't use mine enough! Birthdays, Christmas and Vacation is the only time I really use it.

iCloud is too expensive although you get all these extra features other than storage.
Baidu drive is $5.mo for 2T, so some of my larger video and pictures goes there
Only thing is Baidu cloud is hard for those outside of China to sign up for. And the speed isn't consistent, even for SVIP members. Sometimes it's very fast, sometimes it's really slow.

Iʼm sure the folks at Apple are reading this forum and will grant your wish. 😅

Why donʼt you send them this feedback?
I actually did e-mail Tim Cook directly, as well as submitted feedback on Apple’s website. You’re welcome ☺️
