Question I have is I thought Apple Pay allowed for any size of purchase, just like if I was putting my card into the machine? Or is Apple Pay limited to £30 like on Contactless Cards still?
Places such as Nando's and Apple Retail Stores allow Apple Pay for transactions over £30 (I paid for my Apple Watch using my iPhone and also my Sports Band-Product Red using it).
Waitrose were accepting it too but have temporarily suspended it to £30.
It's a shame more stores where contactless is enabled haven't had the upper limit removed for Apple Pay seeing as it's much more secure than the physical card.
