I would have definitely opted for leather over FW (if leather were still available) but compared to silicone cases I think FW is a better option IMO.

How dare you pretend that this can be solved with just "business as usual" and some technical solutions? With today's emissions levels, that remaining CO2 budget will be entirely gone within less than eight and a half years.
There will not be any solutions or plans presented in line with these figures here today, because these numbers are too uncomfortable. And you are still not mature enough to tell it like it is.

I can’t find leather anywhere apart from Amazon. I have the orange leather case for my 14 pro but it’s all dark around the edges. I heard this is normal. Thought about changing it. But folks say it gives it a vintage look.
It really is such a shame, because the natural titanium phone in the evergreen case with the taupe wallet look epic together from the photos.

Nomad makes some pretty good leather cases.
I agree. And we can see that supply chain shrinking and quality of products greatly decrease.
The iPhone 15 pro and Max have been terrible.
Phones with dirty cameras, uneven or distorted coloring on the titanium.
Damaged phones right out of the box. Cracked screens, debris between the bezel and glass.
That shows even Apple is having major issues in quality and scale.
And it seems of the major 3 Apple rumor/ reporting websites only MacRumors has refrained on reporting.
The technology exists for Apple to make these screens. And surprisingly it’s been out since 2018.

So buy something you like. This isn't complicated.
Has anyone making phones using those screens sold, say 100 million units? That’s not as many as Apple would need, but still it would indicate that the issue isn’t limited production.
100,000,000 so far produced. So scale isn’t an issue. It would simply mean Apple adopt the technology and have a superior advantage over its competition. But Apple is beholden to the shareholders ( of which many are not happy at the moment )
Apple needs to do something to shake up the iPhone line up. Because yearly adoption of new iPhones is down. And people have been vocal about the competition expanding into folding devices. People want something new. And the same old formula isn’t cutting it.
Image is king. When someone can’t tell if you’re holding an iPhone 12 or a 15 , something needs to change.
I'm sorry but that's just very superficial ... there are a lot of changes that happen "under the hood" that make a product far more superior than anything else, small changes that lead to different and bigger things. Look at the 911 ... subtle changes on the exterior, but major changes under the hood over the years. I'm not trying to compare, but there is a lot more to it than just an outer shell. You don't have to update every single time there is a new iPhone, no one is forcing you to do so.
