Am I the only one where I'm not getting any updates in the update section in the app store? iTunes is fine but the same apps that I updated via iTunes are not showing up on my iPad or iPhone.

I'm seeing the same things. I had no issues with the GM build but, since the update to the final build, I haven't seen an app update though I know some exist.

Good so it's not just me. Cause Amazon updated and Twitter updated and they haven't showed up on my iPad and iPhone. I can update them just fine via iTunes.

can you guys actually arrange apps on the device via iTunes 12.3?

iTunes still can't access an iOS 9 device properly

Very strange. Usually whatever apps I update on iOS 8.4 would sync right across and update the version on iTunes when I sync them together. With iOS 9 GM, iOS device app updates would't sync across to iTunes. I assumed a new version was needed. Well that new version came out today 12.3 and guess what, its still not syncing back to the mac updated app.

It May have something to do with the proactive smarts of iOS 9. My apps started updating shortly after I plugged in my device.

I have the same issue. Running the GM build from last week before I did the OTA I had 10 updates.

When I updated to the current release it showed I still had 10 updates. Yet in the App Store tab it shows the updates then flickered to open rather than update. Only way I managed to update them was to quickly open and tap update before it changed to open

im running ios9 on my ipad and 9.1 beta on my iphone 6. both have this

i don't think it's related to iOS 9 or 9.1 being installed, i was actually hoping that updating to iOS 9 would fix this for me. i updated some apps this morning and then was gonna do some more updates when they all switched to saying 'open'. hopefully just a server side glitch that they fix soon, it may be related to the rollout of the new version of iOS, but not having it installed directly.

Thank god it's not just me! My iPad has 9.1 and now as of today can't get app updates. My iPhone is on 9.0 and can't now either. Apple has to be doing something.

when i first open the app store and go straight to updates i can see it switch from 'update' to 'open'. if i hit the button quick enough i can get the app to update correctly. once i do this, the rest of the apps stay as 'update' until i leave the app and come back in again. really strange.

Same thing for me never had any issue like this until I installed IOS 9 so I signed out of the app store and then waited a few min and logged back into the app store with my password and quickly hit update all and then they all started to update but is this just a quick fix ? will this happen again? not sure but set it to update automatically going forward must be a bug in IOS 9 as I never had this issue until today.

i think it makes sense it were apple restricting app updates at the moment because ios9 is maxing out the servers

I was having the same thing with 8.4.1. Updating to iOS 9 didn't fix it. Now it seems to have gone away on its own. The App Store servers are probably being taxed by the iOS 9 rollout or something.

Still seeing an issue here. One thing that's odd is that when I search for Amazon, I can see the app was updated today and that there is an updated version number but never given the option to update, only to open. Additionally, when I deleted Twitter and reinstalled it, the older version reintalled. I can see 6.36.1 is available just 6.36 is the version that installs.

I have tried rebooting my phone and resetting network settings but nothing has changed.

Make sure you have enough free memory to update. I had error with 1.1g and cleared up a few hundred Meg and then it worked.

I've got a 128GB phone with 50.9 GB free so I should be OK...or so I would think. :)

Experienced this same thing initially on each and every iOS 9 beta. Am also seeing it now as my phone finishes restoring. It will correct itself once your restore completes. If you have apps that hasn't finished downloading or have gotten stuck (are greyed out or say waiting) you can force them to download by going into the App Store, going to purchases, and tapping the cloud icon.
