Oh, Samsung displays are the best. But I doubt they're using their top displays on the J5. That's all I'm saying.

DisplqyMate and any test that tests things like "ability to reproduce colors and how bright it gets".
I would agree with that. Remember when we were told that the iPhone X would be getting the S6 panel as Samsung wouldn’t possibly give Apple their best displays.

Colours are subjective, a more vibrant display may be more appealing to some people.
I agree with this. I do prefer Samsung displays. They are richer and pop more. I guess some also prefer the more natural but muted iPhone displays.

It's amazing the Apple defender's here. I'm not saying Google's Pixel line is the best, but man, people need to admit the punch list of shortcomings on iPhone's, which would fill up another thread.

It's more iOS that's the problem, than the iPhone hardware itself. Apple just makes a sh!tt OS. Period. But a great phone .

Give me an iPhone XS Max, running stock Android Q, and that'd be the best smartphone ever created to date
The thing is a lot of people actually like iOS. They like that Apple makes the decisions for them and they defend Apples choices like no other. Which in itself is fine I can actually see the upside of simplicity done right.

Its when the goalposts change constantly that I have to laugh. For example nobody on these forums wanted an iPhone with a screen over 4" when Apple said it was the best size but as soon as Apple started making larger phones due to the popularity of devices like the Note all of a sudden all the Diehards fell in line and agreed that the larger phone was a better choice. So the Apple defenders don't surprise me at all, its what I've come to expect from them.

No different than Samsung fans, time to get a new script that one has been copied to death.

Don't think so :p

Samsung/Android is always ahead of apple in terms of introducing new tech/hardware. Apple fans are very much more likely to back pedal and eat their words when apple played catch up.

P.S. you don't hear Samsung fans said Touch Id is "revolutionary" on a samsung device.

Or an iPhone max running the Samsung experience.

I think the note 9 has better hardware than the Xs max.

A note 9 running a hybrid of iOS and the Samsung experience would be my dream phone.
