Sorry if this is posted somewhere in the thread, but I read on Macrumors that Fedex only sends a plane out from Shanghai every two days? Is that true? And if so, which is the next day they're flying those MBPs to stateside? Thanks.

Sorry, that was evil. I think it is daily actually. Apparently it is to Europe, so I'd think it is to US:

I have the same information on mine heading to Vancouver, BC! It's just been sitting there since the morning ! It's 1:30PM Shanghai time, right now something should of happened by now !

I think they fly out nightly, so waiting for middle of the night (Hamilton time) seems like a good idea. I'm losing hope in getting this thing this week ...

MSD401 and Sycho--- I'm antsy too! Mine left the destination sorting facility an hour ago and is waiting at the "local" (though 25 miles away) sorting facility now. They don't open for another 8 minutes....
but, it's good that they aren't open yet... because hopefully it will make it on the delivery truck today!
MSD401 - I bet you get yours within a couple hours!
Mine made it to the destination sorting facility from Indianapolis pretty quickly!

Though any moment I'm thinking it will see "arrival at local sort facility" - as the drive from Cedar Rapids is only 45 miles... and the facility opens in two minutes.

Fedex estimated delivery date is Monday.. UGH - it'll be a L O N G weekend of waiting...

It hasn't said it has, but the tracking was way behind yesterday, so it most likely left already.

I can't tell you your flight number, but my guess is that it will land in AK at 10:57 on 11/02 (AK time) - and around 13:30 (AK time) it will leave for Indianapolis - - and arrive in Indianapolis around 23:30 PM (11/02) (Indianapolis time).
From there it will head to your destination sort facility (11/03) - then to your destination location - then on the truck.

I'm in Iowa - and mine should arrive around noon (thats what time FedEx usually shows up) - so, in my case, it will be about 12 hour turnaround from landing in Indianapolis to delivery.
(I'm fairly close to Indiana, though)

Mine is Nov 6, 2006 10:30 AM. I hope it arrives at the local (Tulsa, OK) FedEx sometime before the weekend so there might be a possibility of picking it up early.

As far as I know, FedEx policy is that they must make one delivery attempt before you can pick it up from the facility. But, if you are near Tulsa, you should get it quickly!
