I always get kinda excited by the new iPhone event, but I am still planning to keep my XR until the iPhone switches to USB-C, if I can eke it out that long. But I always look forward to the presentation of the new phone, and to seeing folks on here post their reactions and reviews when they receive them!
I first noticed the thermal dimming with my 12, I think it’s about the same with my 13. I will be very much looking forward to any advancements Apple has made in this area. Also if the new phones really are able to reach a satellite in emergencies, that will be a big deal for me as we travel a lot. So yes, I am looking forward to it.
No, not at all. Doesn’t look to add much over the existing iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The new cutout seems change for the sake of change. Doesn’t seem it will add any usable space in the screen.
The camera looks good if you know what you’re doing. But we’ve reached a point where I’m the reason I don’t get better pics, not really the hardware

My XR is ready to retire and new tech really excites me, so I’m looking forward to preordering the 14 Pro!
Excited to say bye bye to the notch, looking forward to real major upgraded cameras on front and back at long last.
Hoping for some actual decent colours this time and not ones picked by 60 yr old underwriters.

I'd definitely say I'm interested (as I am pretty much every year). I wouldn't necessarily say that I'm excited though.
I am not excited for it and I don't expect much from Apple anymore. But it might be time for me to get a new phone. Likely won't pre-order though.
iPhone 14 is the third and final model of the current 3-year iPhone product cycle and thus will be more a refinement of 12 and 13 rather than the something new on all fronts.
If much higher value /$ by comparison to iPhone 12 and 13 excites you then 14 should be really exciting.
I am as excited now for iPhone 14 as I am for Pumpkin Spice lattes . . .
10 - 15 years ago I was more excited for both, now, ... now I have seen the same thing, roughly every year for the past 15 years.
If it was my first iPhone, or phone in general, I would probably be excited but not really anymore.

Quite possibly the least excited I have ever been.
By all accounts the iPhone (non-Pro) is nearly identical to the iPhone 13. So, to be more excited this year than last year is, in a word, odd.
Only the Pro models will be interesting at all this year. The Plus model? I guess if you see $900 worth of value in a larger display that still doesn't get any of this year's major improvements (which are being reserved for Pro only).
I don't particularly like USB-C. But I would prefer to end this mix of Lightning and USB-C cables that my house has all over the place.
I think it is going to come off particularly tone deaf this year when iPhone still has Lightning. And there won't be anything Apple can really say about it, considering they are planning to switch next year. They're just behind on it. Really no spin to offer.
loved my green 11 Pro but wasn't crazy about the Max size, hated my blue 12 Pro & couldn't wait for the 13 ...
this year I'm a bit meh - I'd like to think I'd pass during an evolution year and wait for "a new shape" revolution year, but will very likely cave after the event & preorder a grey / black 14 Pro.

I was excited but now I just got a 13PM to replace my 11PM that was stolen, lol.
Excited? Hell yeah! I’ll be getting one just to see how it is like in person and I’ll be returning it back within a day or two. It’s a true test to see if I can keep my 13 PM, a test which I think I’ll pass.
Not really... I still use a Xs and can't justify purchasing a new phone running 99% the same software with only very incremental hardware upgrades.

Excited to see what's new, but not in the market. Trying to be more financially conscious, and my 13PM is a killer device. Keeping my AW6 at least another year, but throwing a new battery in.
Not really. The 14 is going to be pretty much be the same and the Pro is going to be way out of my price range. I try to stay out of Apple's bleeding edge.
