Yes. Coming from Xs Max, so it's time for me to upgrade. My Xs Max is still good but 4 years is the longest I've held on to a phone. I will either do a trade in or give my current one to a relative, depending on the trade in value. Can't wait!

I'm sort of excited...I guess? I usually upgrade every two years, but I wasn't planning to do it again when the news came out that the 14 would have minimal updates. But my 12 Pro battery life sucks, and I travel a lot for work. It's adding such a daily headache that I feel like I should upgrade....

It’s the same for me - 12 battery is awful so going to go for the 14 Pro Max I think…

iPhone 14 Pro is €1,299 in Germany and £1,099 in the UK.
iPhone 14 Pro Max is €1,449 in Germany and £1,199 in the UK.

Absolutely mental prices
Hopefully it’ll make many people evaluate whether it’s worth upgrading. The cost will never go down though even when the economy levels out sadly so this could be the year that encouraged even more people to keep older iPhones longer.

14 Pro $1399 CAD
14 Pro Max $1549 CAD

I might actually keep my iPhone X for another year. Hopefully, the baseline iPhone 15 will get the dynamic island or at least a design refresh by then.

Two reasons for me not to be excited:
1. My carrier in the US doesn't support eSIM as of today and the eSIM is also a deal breaker for me when I travel overseas and I can't pop in a local SIM card
2. No mini version

I am, but not for myself as I prefer to use Android (currently on OnePlus 10 Pro 256GB) - I will definitely be buying a 14 Pro along with a Series 8 Watch for my mother, who lives alone and can sometimes have health issues that the watch can help out with. I really admire Apple for the amount of work and time they've put into focusing on health, safety and privacy.

Eventually plan to migrate back to iPhone myself, but I'm holding off until Apple implements fast-charging and hopefully USB-C (at around the same time). For my usage, the OnePlus having a fast-charging 5000mAh battery is just too good to give up just yet. I got a deal on this phone at $500 so I am fine with waiting to see what iPhone 15 brings.

Good to hear I suppose- I think I'm gonna upgrade. I can do the monthly payment through my provider, and then privately try and sell my 12 Pro (will be hard with the battery).... that will sting a little less. Still debating between 14 Pro and PM. You're getting the PM?

I have an iPhone X and can't decide if I want to upgrade. I am now in the trap of thinking that I have waited this long maybe next years module will be the big upgrade to have and I should wait just one more year.

Hilarious how people buy new $1000 phones because the $10 battery on their present phone is worn.

I’m beyond ready for preorder day tomorrow. 512GB 14 Pro Max in Deep Purple is calling my name. I’ve already preordered my S8 Ultra with a delivery date of 9/23.

I just ordered one, but my answer is NO. Taking small leaps, like from 11p to 13p, or from 13p to 14pm doesn’t excite me. I prefer keeping my phone for several years. Then it’s a bit more titillating. I only ordered the 14pm because I need a bigger screen. Unless it happens to be ******, I’m keeping it for at least 3 years.

I just don't trust that it won't be the same situation all over again if I replace it. The 12 Pro battery life hasn't been great for a long time now. So I'd rather start with a new phone so I'm not in this situation again in two years.

In two years though, you’d certainly notice & appreciate the upgrade more. Also, what’s to say that you won’t be in the same situation in two years with the 14?

After giving it some thought & in spite of my fears that the UK iPhone 15 models will be eSIM only, I’ve decided to stick with my 13 Pro Max for another year (just cancelled my sale on Music Magpie). The upgrades on the 14 don’t excite me enough to change iPhone & as I said, I’ll appreciate the upgrade more in the future.

Of course, as always, it’s a personal thing & your current iPhone is a year older than mine.

I don’t believe phone battery life
is improved . It has never been an Apple
priority. It is also battery life on
Laptops and iPads. After a short period of
time Apple battery life degrades. Saying
The new phone has improved battery life at the
beginning is just pixie dust. Honestly
I think we can agree that Apple is not
Not committed to battery improvement.
