Oh mate, I'm going to be very sad losing the midnight green! Think I'll go back to slate/grey/graphite whatever they're calling it this time round!

I'm pretty excited to get MagSafe too, really tempted to pick up one of the MagSafe wallets and maybe the battery pack, but I'm not sure how comfy they will be to hold.
I wish I knew if the rumored new green color was going to be the same Alpine green color already released or if it’s some pastel shade. I already have a beautiful pastel mint green iPhone 11, so I’m hoping for a deep green for the 14 Pro.

I haven’t tried any MagSafe accessories. My husband has tried a couple of wallets and he likes his current one from some vendor on Amazon. I think it’s not that great looking, so I’m not even going look it up to recommend it. The only good thing about it is that it’s got strong magnets.

I am secretly excited and I strive to keep it a secret (it's out now). If I let the secret out they look at me with crazy eyes like 'I didn't expect this from you.' Then I feel a bit embarrassed. Well, OK, now you know. How do you all keep the secret? It's hard, right?

Probably, because smartphones are my hobby, the phone i spent hours every day, i want it to be fast and reliable. However, im less excited this year, last year we got really good battery plus 120 hz. I was expecting some design changes, subtle ones tho, however it looks like its gona be an slightly upgraded 13 Pro/Max.

I will say this, if the new camera is noticeably better in all day light condition,we get even better battey, and 8gb ram, that would be a fine upgrade. O yeah, i really, really wish we got 2k OLED already, but i think they’re gona put a more efficient screan 1-120hz and call it a day.

Not exactly considering I just purchased S22 Ultra couple weeks ago. Can't say I'm thrilled about the battery life. So Iphone 14 Max Pro might be in the future for me, lol. I still have my 13 Pro. So I might trade that up for 14 Max Pro. We'll see how the S22 holds up. But certain things about the S22 Ultra do make me want to go back. But we'll see. I was Team Samsung for a few years. Then switched to Iphone X, 11 Pro, 13 Pro. Decided to jump back into android to see if I'm missing out since last time. Gotta say. I'm on the fence.

The technology has matured. No reason to get excited
Only in the Apple garden. If you look over the Apple wall, there's a lot going on out there even for a mature market. Folding screens, cameras so good you can take moon photos with them that look to be straight out of an astronomy magazine. That's just two. It's just that Apple aren't in the game. Which is strange because once upon a time not too long ago Apple wrote the tune and the rest of them danced along and joined in during the chorus. Now it's Apple's turn to dance along to someone else's tune.

(Actually though tbf Apple don't ever dance to someone else's tune, they stick their fingers in their ears going 'tra la la la la' and pretend the radio's not on.)

I mean what's the iPhone 14 really going to offer this year that suddenly makes the 13, or even in fact every iPhone since the X, seem so woefully obsolete that you just have to upgrade?

Answer: Nothing.

Apple just drip feed things as they know they have loyal customers who lap up what ever small upgrades they come up with.
I used to be a yearly upgrader since the ip5, blinkers are off.
I enjoy using my 11” M1 iPad Pro more than my 13 max and it was half the price.

Just two weeks for the announcement. Are you excited for this years iPhone?

I gotta say I’m more excited for this year than last year, although still not much. I mean, what really spikes my interest is the new 14 Max model for improved battery life for under 1000€ I hope, the new design (just to see some visual changes) and maybe AOD (but this feature I wouldn’t even use).

Not much else, I’d say. Would be cool to see a big camera upgrade, but we don’t see that from year to year. I have an iPhone 12 and don’t see much reason to upgrade. 120Hz is cool but on an iPad; not as much on a phone, where iPhone is already SUPER smooth.

under 1000€? Non pro max yeah

I’m interested, but I wouldn’t say that I’m excited. I’m pretty happy/content with my iPhone 12, so I doubt I’ll be upgrading this year.

I'm excited for the event, but not really excited for the iPhone 14s themselves since there will be no mini nor USB-C.
My hope now is the AW8 gets Silver back, the 13 mini gets a $100 price cut, and maybe they increase storage on the Apple One plans.

With the latest rumors of only a $50 increase and bump to 256gb for the 14 pro, Im now very interested.

£50 doesn’t sound like a lot but don’t forget the device was already hideously expensive to begin with as they all are. The iPhone 12 pricing pushed my limits on what I am willing to spend on principle so I won’t be absorbing any further hikes in price. It’ll probably be different in the UK though considering the state of our economy at the moment and I can’t see Apple doing themselves out of sales over a £50 hike.

Fair enough I get it. Especially since I think the 14 is nothing great, so getting the more expensive pro is really the only way to go IMO.

Nope. If I was coming from an 11 or older I would be but my 12 Pro is good enough until Apple
changes designs, changes sizes and adds USB-C.

I’m waiting for the Astro photography features and a 10x zoom 😂.

Jk, I’m on a 11 64gb, so I’m definitely going to upgrade.

Nope.

Since the iPhone X the yearly upgrade has lost its appeal as with the cost its just not worth the upgrade! For me anyway.

But every year sees a slight improvement in performance that you would struggle to see in the real world and a "better" camera which isn't enough to chuck stupid money per year/month at.

Will be sticking with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and see what the 15 Pro brings.
