Going from an 11 Pro Max to the 14 Pro Max. I had always upgraded every 2 years until last year. The 13 series just was not the phone that I wanted and my 11 Pro Max worked great still, so I kept it for a 3rd year. Hence my eagerness to upgrade now to the 14 Pro Max.

Of course you are right but at the same time, do you think its unreasonable to think that if we all consume less than it would benefit us all? Just imagine how much less wastage there would be etc.
So, in a way, its none of my business or its all my business. It just depends how you look at it.

But, that would be a long conversation and probably wouldn't serve anything in the end.

But then it isn’t necessary for you to understand, right? It costs you nothing got other people to spend their money however they choose, right?

I originally planned to keep the mini anyway, which is why I decided to buy and try it and sell my 13 pro. I have a granddaughter that will be getting a phone within the year, and I had planned to put it up for her. I’m not positive I’ll do that yet, because she really won’t need a $700 phone, but it’s just such a great little phone.
wow lucky granddaughter! :) Ill be curious to see what you do!

Well what I SHOULD do is hand her down her brother’s SE2020 and pick him up an SE2022, but I’m not always responsible in that way. ;-p

Just bought 7 out of 8 grandkids new iPad 9th gens (the youngest has an old 6th gen for the car only). Of course now they are gonna come out with the 10th gens in those amazing colors (supposedly), so I’m annoyed I didn’t wait longer.

I’m not sure how I got to be the appointed iPad/iPhone purchaser for all the grandkids, but I can’t say I don’t enjoy it.

😂 wow that’s expensive !

I will not upgrade this year. Will keep my SE 2020, unless they pull out an IPhone with Touch ID in the last minutes.

My 13 mini is fine but id prefer more battery life in exchange for size and I somehow have a huge scratch in my screen which is unsightly.

I'm on a 13 Pro right now and the only reason I would upgrade is because I've been using my iPhone as my main web surfing device outside of work (my MacBook just makes me feel like I'm at work all the time), and the smaller screen is starting to strain my eyes. If there's no new iPad this event, I will consider the 14 Pro Max...but not really sure. After trade in I think the price will be in the same range as buying a 9th Gen iPad.

I have a 13 pro max, and I'll probably get the 14 pro max. Even though I have upgraded every year so far, based on what I see, i probably wouldn't except need to upgrade my wife's iPhone 8, so she'll take the 13 pro max.

I don’t know if anyone else had an issue with their phones like I did where the camera hardware itself was slow. I’m hoping that focus and overall feel of the camera is faster, smoother and more responsive. My 13 Pro focus hunted quite a bit in indoor lighting. In addition to the issues I had with the pwm it’s one reason I’m eager to try the 14 Pro/Max out.

Wait and see, here. I have an 11 Pro that still works very well, but will upgrade if they surprise us with USB-C (to get 5g, better camera, etc). Not buying another device with a lightning port.
May I ask why? I like the ease and convenience of the lightning port. I'm not being argumentative, I sincerely want to know.

I selected upgrading from a 13 pro but honestly I am still a bit unsure. I am one of those upgrade every year people usually but I can’t even pretend to have an issue with my current phone and I know the changes will be minimal. I have a gold phone that, while gorgeous, I have wished was graphite over the past year. That’s nudging me a bit but I’ll decide for sure after the announcement Wednesday.

I'm planning to upgrade to the 14 Pro Max from 13 PM but hoping T-Mobile fixes their JOD issues of HIGH Down Payments this year by at least $450 if they eliminate the 128 GB size and if prices go higher than anticipated.

I also wish you could do JOD upgrades online. but nope. you have to use T-force or call in so inconvenient.

I got the 13 Pro Max on a good deal with trading in my 11 PM. Aside from 5G, I don’t feel like I got an upgrade at all. This stuff is redundant. They’re plateauing. That’s why everyone is now going for the next big new thing. Folding or whatever.

If you want it, I feel stock may be limited but then again we’ve got a myriad of issues, you should get it. If you’re just getting it due to keeping up with the Jones so to speak, you’ll be happy with it… until the next.

Edit: I forgot to add it causes eye strain I never used to get. I missed a reply above. 13 Pro Max has given me migraines. I wish I could sell it.
You could have kept your 11 Pro Max for 2 more years and upgrade to the 15 Pro Max. Nowadays, it’s better to upgrade every 3/4 years rather than 1/2 years if you want to be amazed of your upgrade.
