The chances are working for Apple - they umm ... like Apple stuff so not too surprising a leap is that they follow things like AI or MR - main thing to realise is that they are just people - who will gossip :D Besides - who wants 1000 customers bitching the next week because they want the new iMac instead :p
Agreed... this is basically what I was trying to say. The employees, for the most part, are Apple fans like the rest of us. But there certainly wasn't a "policy". To the poster above you who states it was a rule, it was probably management local decision. Officially, Apple doesn't even like to acknowledge the site. Anyway, enough on this as it's off-topic.

I'm dying here without these new iMacs. Seriously the battery no longer works on my MBP (at all)... it is slow as hell, and getting slower, even though it has only stock programs on a clean install of SL. I'm out of warranty and this thing is ready to bite the dust!!

It's tomorrow or bust! Everyone have a good night sleep tonight and by morning time there will be new macs!

No posts on here today! Thought I'd just add something from hardmac: http://www.hardmac.com/news/2009/10/19/new-imacs-tomorrow

I looked at previous update in March reports and first it was low stocks and supplies (January/Feb) Then it was considerable amount of information and predictions the day before..

This time it hasn't yet gotten to the considerable amount of information/spec predictions. So I don't know about tomorrow. But maybe that report means there's a chance.

I think the answer lies within Tim Cook's answer to a question following the quarterly report:

"Cook later explained that costs associated with "air freight is not related to the iPhone. Generally speaking, it's planned to get enough units into the channel in time for the holidays." He said that Apple expects freight costs to be "more than normal," adding that while "in general we spend more in freight in [holiday] Q1, but this increase is larger than usual. I'm sorry, I can't be specific on the product, but it's an abnormal sequential increase."

Simply put: new/updated hardware is on the way...

hmmm... I can see how this is possible :) I guess I am going to have to sneak my phone into school tomorrow :D I am so excited!

I can verify that tomorrow will be a big day...just as I told everyone last week.

Since it's obvious that the new imacs are not gonna be released today; let the guesses begin as to when they actually will be released :D

Possibly in early 2010 i s my guess with the new tablet PCs.
