Argggh! Where are the new Imacs?/So who thinks we're getting new iMacs?/etc [Merged]

Ok, but realize that the clock speed of the Clarksfield processor perform better than Core 2 Duo..Just like a Core 2 Duo at 2G Hz performs MUCH better than a Core Duo at 2 GHz or a P4 at 2 GHz.
 
I love how everyone says that then new imacs will be thinner...of course they will either be thinner or the same. What are they gonna make it more like a picture tube TV and we are supposed to like that? I bet the new Imacs also have better specs too.

Not sure if this even really means anything, Nothing is going to happen next week, still no announcements or invites. This is all over hyped.

If there is no invite by the end of the day, then I agree that nothing is going to happen next week. It is looking more like October 27th.

maybe Apple doesn't release everything at once? That what your saying? WHo knows?! Hopefully it's something!! Although Friday is an odd time
 
Sigh. I wish.

It doesn't make a lot of sense for a tech company to release a product that is going to get buried in the weekend news cycle. Friday afternoons are usually when companies release disappointing financial results or embarrassing press releases.
