I can't find the return policy on the AT&T website.
Is there some sort of a standard 30 day (or less) return policy that would enable me to return the phone if I didn't like it?
 
No you don't take to a store, plug in to iTunes to activate it at home.
They will email you with the tracking number when they ship out. They might send you new simcards or have you put your existing sims in before you activate. You can call AT&T for activation details.

Seems to be only in white for the 16gb, still a great deal! Someone here said there was no activation fee but I am still seeing a line activation fee of $36.
 
The 16GB Black model is out of stock, but both colors of the 32 are still available for $149, still an epic deal.
 
If I wasn't only a year into my contract, I'd upgrade my 3G 16gb to a 3Gs 32GB.

I was about to pull the trigger until my s/o reminded me to double check that my verizon contract was indeed up/expired. Its a good thing I checked.

It expires on January 1st. Not too far away, at all. Guess I'll have to wait just a bit longer.

The real bummer is not being able to take advantage of this awesome refurbished deal today. At the previous refurbished prices for the 3Gs ($149.00), I'd almost rather pay the new $199.00 price and buy direct from my local Apple store.

Oh well. Looking forward to my first iphone just around the bend. :)
 
ugh :/ so I just bit and ordered one. not sure if the order will go through though because I have different account, billing and shipping addresses I am sure my order will get flagged.

anyway, I added a line to my account. I am still on the 2g iphone right now but my contract isnt up until march. Last I checked my etf for that line was $75. I am assuming I can drop that line, pay the etf and just continue with this line on the new 3gs phone correct?
 
I just ordered a 3GS for my family - 16GB Black. Yes, it is out of stock on the main screen, but I could do that on add-line menu. I hope it will go through the process :rolleyes:. We visited apple store yesterday to buy a new one. Thanks Applejuiced :)
 
Damn, I tried to order one earlier today and could not complete the process because I'm not eligible for an upgrade until Jan. 8th.:mad:

I called AT&T and they said with any other phone they could move up my date and give me the deal but they can't with the iphone:rolleyes:

So this deal only applies to new customers or people who are eligible for an upgrade...
