I learned very early on never pre order with anyone other than Apple. I always get a launch day in store pickup for 8am. You can ever trust what ATT system says. But I did this year for my daughters 12 just to make trade in easier. I ordered on Sunday and got a 10/26-11/2
But a lot of times you get the email saying it was shipped when it’s on ur door. System always gets clogged down. Always check order status then check delivery manger in FedEx since that’s all they use.

Order date: 10/16/2020 at 8:01:03 a.m. ET - Iphone 12 Pro Silver 512GB showing delivery date of November 2, 2020 - November 9, 2020 but I just moved to preparing to ship and got my Fedex Text for the 23rd.
you have to sign up for FedEx delivery manager and put in ur adresss with ur name. Anything that gets shipped with them you will be notified as soon as a label gets printed in ur name
in years past you could track on the fedex website via reference number instead of tracking number.
Your phone number was the reference number.
Just got the FedEx tracking number on the app with Oct 23 delivery for my wife’s gold 256gb 12 pro even though order status on att website still says preparing to ship
Again, I really wouldn’t be too worried yet until Thursday morning. If you don’t hear of your phone shipping by then, we will probably have to wait until next week. Last year, I didn’t get any notice of my phone shipping until the day before delivery.
I do too but then when I select it. It says service not available. I called. And fedex said only the shipper can request a hold at the hub.
That does not make sense to me.
Cause they have special delivery instructions noted on the package that they can’t break. Must be delivered to address on the day. But after one failed attempt I think you can.

ATT’s info they give you is so late. I am assuming it’s cause all the orders is slowing down the system. Most in years past got theirs before they even got a shipped notice!
