I also have a plan that allows hotspots and it does not allow 5G. I also have built up a few credits and don't want to give those up. I use hotspot when we camp for streaming TV and just can't give that up. So, I'm with you not giving up my plan just yet, until I can find a new way to stream when camping.

oh i don’t use hotspot. i just don’t want to switch to a 5g plan and have to pay more money/lose my discount. we don’t use the hotspot feature ever nor need the plan with the hbo thing includes
No. I played around on AT&T website to compare the 5g plans. My current 4g unlimited family plan only has 22g of high speed/4g data, but it includes AT&T Watch TV and HBO MAX. The new 5g plan is slightly cheaper (around 10-20/month), includes 100g of high speed data before they limit your speed, but I’ll lose the AT&T Watch TV which means I’ll have to pay more in total for cell + TV.
After reading about how 5g speed in some situations can be slower vs 4g at least for now, I’m in no hurry to change my plan yet. It kinda sucks though to have to change plans/lose features if I want to use the 5g speed on the 12 Pro Max coming this Friday...

Order still shows as preparing to ship on ATT website but I was able to find my tracking number on FedEx website. Schedule delivery on 11/13.

Fed ex says it was picked up but the shipper has put a do not deliver until date lol guess I won’t get it early
Fedex Delivery Manager. For me it was showing all the way at the bottom after all my delivered packages.
Just did some digging and found out that I have a package listed for delivery to me tomorrow which is from AT&T via a 3rd party distributor. I doubt I get it tomorrow as it only shows label created at the moment. Had to Google Ingram Micro AT&T to find out that they are connected and my phone will come from them. I'm going to have it delivered to my local FedEx store so that I can pick it up.
I was just able to find it. I hadn’t fully signed up for the Delivery Manager. My phone is in Texas with a delivery date of 11/13. Thanks for your help!

Just got a text that FedEx picked up my 12 Pro Max Blue 128GB. Shows actually picked up and in transit, but there's a notice saying it won't deliver early. Friday delivery date at FedEx.com. No email from ATT, and the order status still says Preparing to Ship.
That always happens. I remember one year it hit my distribution facility 2 days early and thought I’d get it early but next day “held until xx/xx”.
