i’m not really a fan that the case has the buttons cut out like that and leaves the side exposed. I saw a really nice coach case leather at best buy and it was the same way. i didn’t care for it

I've used these cases on my past 4 iPhones, and they have never failed me... but I also understand your perspective. YMMV.

I’m pretty sure it’ll ship tomorrow obviously. I just don’t understand why they are so hesitant about giving up information on the product that you bought
 
I've had no movement from att but my FedEx delivery manager tells me my phone is waiting in irving Texas
I wouldn't. They are probably slammed right now and unless your estimated date has changed I'd just leave them alone and be patient. 99% chance it is still completely on schedule.

I think it is mostly because with initial shipments like this they are being staged in distribution facilities for delivery on friday and to their system it isn't shipped till it leaves those distribution facilities. Don't think they are trying to hide anything but simply that from their system standpoint it hasn't shipped yet. Likely just the logistics of trying to time everything to get there on the same day.

So I order my Iphone 12 Pro Max Graphite 512GB version on Pre Order Day around 8:10am CST through First Net. Initially it said something like we are preparing your order. Now It shows this status of We hit a Snag, but were ready to get things back on track. After calling AT&T and being transferred 3-4 times the answer was there was nothing wrong with the order perse, the item was just back ordered. The Delivery by Date Has not changed. Anyone experienced something similar? Or know what the heck is going on?
 
Yeah, mine still says preparing shipment. That just means they haven’t created a label for it yet to give you a tracking number. Once the label gets created AT&T will forward you a tracking number via email. Until then it’s being staged like others have already said. We will all probably get some form of email early in the morning between 4 and 5 AM central time stating that the label has been created or the item is in transit etc.

This who have a tracking number...how long did it take to go from preparing to ship - to getting a tracking number?

I don’t have FedEx or Mychoice UPS so I can’t check.
Estimated delivery is 11/13-11/20 with status preparing to ship

I spoke to an agent and their supervisor, and they were no help. They can’t see my tracking info although its live on FEDEX.

I'm not real sure that would help much. Even if you had a number and saw it sitting in Houston for 3 days and not moving from Houston people are still going to get concerned something is wrong when it is just waiting the proper time to ship to arrive on Friday.

As long as arrival date is still 11/13, 99% chance it will be there that day.

I love and hate this thread. I love getting sucked into the info swirl but hate that I can’t find my phone in FedEx or ups lol

Same. I usually just do in store pick up on launch day or place in store pick up but didn't want to both with that this year and just have shipped to my house. Now i'm like "give me that tracking number,baby!"

So I am glad I called a second time about my order... They had to re order my 12 Pro Max....... Because of an issue with payment..... Now my order is pushed back at least until 11/18 - 11/25.... Got to love AT&T..... Should have ordered through apple again.
