So I am glad I called a second time about my order... They had to re order my 12 Pro Max....... Because of an issue with payment..... Now my order is pushed back at least until 11/18 - 11/25.... Got to love AT&T..... Should have ordered through apple again.

Did it show status as preparing to ship? How did you know it was an issue

Did you have “preparing to ship” status?

From my previous post.. Initially right after order it said they were preparing my order then it changed to we hit a snag... I called once a day or two ago and got the oh the item is on back order no issue here. Then I called today and they had to reverify my card address and email address .. Cancelled my original order then re ordered it.

Order status:

We hit a snag, but we're ready to get things back on track.

Call us at 844.787.6477.

Delivery by date:
November 13, 2020

So I order my Iphone 12 Pro Max Graphite 512GB version on Pre Order Day around 8:10am CST through First Net. Initially it said something like we are preparing your order. Now It shows this status of We hit a Snag, but were ready to get things back on track. After calling AT&T and being transferred 3-4 times the answer was there was nothing wrong with the order perse, the item was just back ordered. The Delivery by Date Has not changed. Anyone experienced something similar? Or know what the heck is going on?

I ordered my Mini from AT&T app on Nov 6 at 9:45am EST, delivery was estimated Nov 16-23 (maybe they have a small quantity of green 256GB?) and my status just changed to preparing to ship. Think I could still have Nov 13 delivery?

Edit: tracking just went live in FedEx app - will deliver by 11/13!

How did you pull up your FedEx delivery manager. What did you get your look up number from
So it’s something you sign up for ahead of time. It tracks packages being sent to an address. It’s meant for a business but people can use it. Then when you go view your address you’ll see it in a list.

Not for everyone. Lol. Mine is still
In prepping for shipping and no info via FedEx or ups.

If you haven't gone through the address verification process with fedex you won't see any info through them until AT&T updates their info (likely tomorrow).

Everything should be moving properly though

I know fdm well. I am verified for fdm and ups. So must be something else.

Can I have my shipment held at the FedEx Depot for Pickup early the same day? When I order from Apple in the past I would call UPS with the tracking number the night before and they pull the shipment Thursday night and I go to my local UPS depot and pick it up at 9:00am. Is the same possible with FedEx or do I just have to wait for 3:00pm (my usual FedEx delivery time).

TIA

FedEx has to attempt to deliver before the package can be held... at least that’s been my experience with all of my packages coming from AT&T. It think it’s something AT&T requires.

Do they require a signature, because Fedex can be funny. They're like Chris Rock on Grown Ups with how they attempt to deliver.

I think it depends on the driver. I’ve had several FedEx packages delivered over the past few weeks. One was my work laptop and other equipment to work from home... they left it at my door but when my Apple Watch was delivered last week the driver said he was glad I was home... I don’t think he would have left it if I wasn’t here. All of the other packages were just left but he seemed as if he wouldn’t have left it if I wasn’t home.
