Be sure to video your encounter and take every piece of proof you can get that you gave it to someone at the store... A few years back, AT&T claimed they did not receive my phone back, but I had taken it to the local store where I watched them bag it up and take it away. Granted, I lost the receipt I was given, but I basically told the store manager I would not leave until it was fixed (and it almost closing time lol). Magically it got fixed.

Mine said Tuesday (today) since Sunday but it has not shown up. Tracking says it's still in Texas. It will come Friday, 0-1% chance it comes tomorrow.
I think we all were hoping it would slip through lol. But I'm guessing they're on pallets with black shrink-wrap saying DO NOT SHIP UNTIL THURSDAY.
The ones posted here bought from AT&T online are coming from their depot in Fort Worth, TX. If you are trading in make sure you record the session and see if you can get a receipt or confirmation. Make sure you turn off Find My iPhone and factory reset your phone.
Thanks for the heads up. This is exactly why I am going to walk the old phones into an ATT corporate store. Too much shipping going on all at once and too many hands.
And that’s the best way imo. Unfortunately I live in the middle of no where in rural America and AT&T is like an hour away from me. So I kind of have to rely on going to Walgreens or True Value to drop off packages.
No worries bud, totally get it. I work with people all over the nation, some are in town, others are like in your situation. Everything in between, lol.
I live in SoCal as well and my package is showing that it is on time and being delivered today. Any mention of Friday is gone but it’s still in Texas. Definitely not getting today but fedex needs to update something.
True - however, It's been my experience that when it comes down to actually pre-ordering and receiving my shipment on time - AT&T has been the clear winner over purchasing directly from Apple.
They will update it after tonight. It’ll probably say something vague like rescheduling delivery or arriving late or something OR best of all just put that the delivery date is unavailable.

Exactly! That's why after further consideration, I went ahead and made plans to sell my 12 Pro Max to Buybackworld.com. I will be getting 500 cash up front upon inspection of my iPhone, which is in excellent condition! That is a WIN in my book! And also, those "credits" that AT&T promises, don't actually start until after the third monthly bill!!! I'll use some of that cash from BBW to buy a pair of the new AirPods Pro and a couple of cases, and whatever else I decide on. I have used BBW for years, and they usually beat all the others out there and offer me the most money for my devices.
