Which phone are you getting?

I'm in the same boat as you. My tracking says Label Created at 7:20am 9/15 shipper INGRAMMICRO with an estimated delivery date of 9/16 by 8pm but no further updates. Has been stuck on that status for over 24 hrs.
I just got off the phone with AT&T, they told me that FedEx couldn’t make it in time to pick up the equipment by the cut off to be able to be delivered today. Looks like it won’t get here till Monday. Of course, they were really weird about it and kept repeating what I had told them for about 15 minutes before they got to what I already knew. they didn’t care about launch day delivery guarantees, or anything, I don’t even know if they even have that anymore. There’s nothing much more to do, except hope that the phone is still coming today with another tracking number that we don’t have , lol. doubt it though.

AT&T sucks. Earlier, I thought a USPS package might be my phone, but it’s not. AT&T says it will ship Sep 23-30, and I hit the cancel button on the order yesterday so I could try to pick one up from an Apple Store today. AT&T did not cancel the order, and overnight it changed from “On hold” to “We're just about ready to ship”, and the cancel button is now gone, even though it definitely still hasn’t shipped (I have accounts with FedEx, UPS, and USPS and can see as soon as labels are created). Had the cancel button actually worked yesterday, I could have had a phone in my hands right now from Apple or Best Buy, but no.

I’m pretty sure the system is designed to prevent you from switching your order to someone else. If they were a customer friendly company, they would allow you to cancel instantly and get your upgrade eligibility back immediately at any point in the process, even if the phone has shipped (just charge them the full amount if they don’t return an order that was shipped and cancelled). Them cutting off pre-order cancellations before phones have even shipped is just downright customer hostile.
This is true even if you speak to them. with the insanity that is going on with my order right now, I asked him the same question if I could go to Apple and just get it. They were like “no now you cannot cancel your order”. Even when I mentioned to them that the phone is still sitting in their warehouse, and I cannot cancel? They said, yes, you cannot cancel now. Phone has to be attempted to be delivered to you and/or received by you, and then returned by you before we can cancel it. We don’t care that it has not left our warehouse yet. What garbage, this company is beginning to suck big time not that they were ever so great before or anything.
 
My phone iPhone 14 128GB Black didn't update since arriving at the FedEx Fort Worth hub until this morning and now it is out for delivery in Austin.
 
Question regarding the trade in kit. Does anyone know if you can take your phone directly to an AT&T store and not use the trade in kit that was sent? Will that affect the $800 promotion in any way?

It’s going to be a long day at the office. Fed Ex typically passes by my house in the early evening. If by some chance it passes earlier, it’s a good enough excuse to GTFO of work early on a Friday.

I am pretty sure you can go to the store. Mine doesn't even have my trade in info in the order. After calling ATT a ton of times they said I could goto the store to trade it in. Might be better to do it in store so it gets cataloged correctly. Have had issues if the SN is different on the account then the phone it never logs it to your account. and its a nightmare to get resolved. I had to get my phone replaced so when I traded it in for an upgrade I never got credit since they trade was tagged to a different phone.
 
Mine got delayed at the local FedEx....delivery moved to Monday, September 19
Sorry to hear. This is the first time since 2010 that I won’t be getting an iPhone on launch day, feel so weird. But in the grand scheme of life, so inconsequential anyway. Still, streak broken..

Does anyone know why two phones ordered on the same day would come from two different locations? Wife ordered the Iphone 14 Pro Deep Purple 256 coming from Fort Worth for delivery today and I ordered a Silver Pro Max 256 and it's coming from Plainfield, IN and status hasn't moved from "label created"
 
I ordered 4 last Friday, all by 8:10am...

iPhone 14 Pro Max 128GB Gold
iPhone 14 Pro Max 128GB Purple
iPhone 14 Pro Max 128GB Purple
iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Purple

The Gold Pro Max is out for delivery via UPS.

the 14 Pro 256GB and one of the Pro Max 128GB are at the local FedEx facility. Each was sent from a different location.

The other 14 Pro Max 128GB has not been shipped yet, I still get the "Expected to ship Sept. 15th" message. It makes zero sense what they're doing.

100% agree.....unless they have different locations for different colors, types and gbs....

According to Fed-Ex mine went from Texas to Indianapolis last night and then left Indianapolis this AM. I live in California so I don’t get it. It still shows “on time” with delivery today by 4:30PM. Should I be concerned? It left Indianapolis at 8:40AM EST today.

Highly doubt it'll get delivered unless FedEx has been given a high speed delivery option.....I also have a feeling scans are being delayed since there are so many items being shipped (iPhone related)
 
If your phone is out for delivery right now did y’all get a email or text from att that your phone shipped? It’s not almost 8am and it still hasn’t arrived in my town or a neighboring city.
 
So, mine still says backordered when I dial *6737#, and says it is getting ready to ship on ATT. When i contacted ATT they told me that it will arrive today, along with like a different order number and an invoice number??

My order is at UPS facility and being prepped for delivery! 😍
Mines is it out for delivery. I'm not a home but my father is. He has a doctor appointment, so I hopes it's after he returns. I left delivery instructions if he isn't, but will they follow them?

I'm chatting with ATT now to see if I can get a backstory on what's going on and why one is out for delivery and one is still stuck on "label created"
