Offered 1000 trade in credit to upgrade for everyone in our family and we took it....lol too good to pass up but I have a feeling it's because they want to keep customers rather than loosing them....1000 to ATT is like pocket change and now they have you for 2-3 more years since it's credit towards your bill every monthHi everyone

No seriously, I've been with them forever, and it's good to see this. But what a surprise. You used to be able to great deals, then not-so.
Trade in boxes showed up USPS. Still waiting FedEx for two Apple boxes. Inside delivery window… att shows no movement from preparing to ship. FedEx shows out for delivery as of 7am. I’ll trust FedEx for a change.
No, I usually have no problems with FedEx other than the occasional dummy driver leaving my package at a neighbors house because he can’t read address plaques. Someone probably just messed up due to how busy they are PLUS the seasonal help they’ve been hiring. Unfortunately, I can’t be sure when I’ll get the darn thing now….Monday, I hope.
Not a scam at all.….BUT its paid in bill credits over 3 years, so if you want to leave AT&T or want to trade in your device earlier, you have to pay the remaining number of months left out of pocket.
Y'all are lucky. Pre-ordered last Friday. Had it shipped to the store. Received UPS tracking information. Everything going smoothly, until I checked my tracking information this morning. Damage Reported. Empty box reported. Notifying shipper. Not the first time I've had issues with UPS.
Went to the AT&T store where I pre-ordered. Manager was less than helpful and said to wait. Eventually they'd receive either a damaged box, which they would report, or a new phone in for me. And that they'd let me know when the new phone arrives. Yippee.

Oh right. Forgot about that. That's fine. I keep these for a while. It's literally an offer I can't refuse. Apple would give me $360, and there's a good chance that that would be in-store only, as the trade-in company (forgot the odd name...Phobio?) is not particularly reliable.

Anyone ever seen this. I just got a text from FedEx saying, “your package is on the way!”, but then a delayed, but the new delayed delivery window is the same as the original delivery window for today???

Yes i saw this also only because they weren't auth to deliver before the 16 but still got mine today

Really. Well that makes sense in a way, as they couldn't realistically give you more than the new phones cost. But it's an inequity.
These promotions are in place of contracts which were done away with a few years ago. Can we now assume this dead horse has been beaten sufficiently?
I got mine. They never updated my order. Still even now says preparing to ship and I got it a couple hours ago. I even called and spoke to an idiot last night that gave me the definition of a delivery 😂. I just wanted to see if they had tracking and they didn’t but this morning I did the *6737# on my phone and got a message to look up my order and there it was. It shipped fed ex on the 14th. So weird. I am hoping anyone else stuck in that status ends up getting their phone today because some of us did.
