How many people still have not had there's sent yet?

I'm glad I didn't ask for Friday off work, no way it can get here now. I'm going to call Apple in the morning and give Steve's minions an ear full.

Mine still hasn't been sent. I've not given up though. I think there are a lot of us in the same holding pattern. I suspect that they're already in australia (delivered with the stock for the apple stores and premium resellers) and ready for delivery tomorrow/friday.

The only people that might not get them on time are those that live in remote/rural areas.

Mine still prepared for shipping. Getting worried now.

If that guy is telling the truth then that good news. Wish Apple had the decency to tell us our iPad's have left the factory.

Aw, c'mon.. if that's true then it's really piss poor planning by Apple Australia.

Why leave them all just sitting there for two days for delivery on Friday when there are obviously not enough drivers and hours in the day? What harm could have come from starting deliveries from Wednesday onwards like in the UK?

Like someone mentioned in that thread, there's no way the drivers are even going to bother ringing the doorbell at some locations, just drive on by to save time. I'll be mightilyy annoyed if I have to go to the airport depot to pick it up myself after 6pm on Friday night. Especially if they're available in the stores at 9am, so what would be the point of pre-ordering when it's just extra delay and hassle?
 
Shipped notification this morning within 2-5 days. Of course TNT's system is down with no data for my consignment number. To stay home today or not......
 
Same here. An email first thing this morning (sent 2:30am) so I assume they've been working through the night. The email had this in red to highlight it, so it looks like they aren't waiting for Friday:

Delivery Note:
We expect iPad shipments for metropolitan and regional areas to be delivered on or before 28 May. Shipments to some remote areas may require an additional 1-2 business days to complete delivery. ​

Iv the exact same email only mine cam in at 1:59am. Im staying at home today just incase.:D
 
Got the email, I want to know if I should stay home from work (I probably should anyway, I have some flu symptoms) but TNT doesn't have my tracking number in the system yet.
 
iPad and VGA connector.....SHIPPED! (but separately).
All other pref.s are still prepared for shipment.

Update:
have just got an email....Doc and USB adapter are also shipped (together).
I'm expecting the case to be shipped shortly.

I've got the email too but really don't expect it until Friday since the shipping company called me to ask if I'd be home on Friday.

By looking at the past record from TNT, if your order is "Electronically Lodged" by COB, your item would be delivered to your door by 9 or 10 am in the morning. (If you live in Sydney Metro Area)
 
Yep, I agree. This is looking like it'll be given to the drivers for their daily deliveries tomorrow morning.
 
Both iPad and Dock have now shipped, separately. Both bear the statement "Delivers: 28/05/2010".

Hey pondie you make 3 Canberra buyers, including myself, that I know of :)

Got my email very early this morning (something like 2AM) but I've been tracking it on TNT all day and it doesn't even register on their website yet... Here goes all hope of getting it today... ::mad:

TNT tracking is updated.. I'm in Perth, Australia so I'm pretty confident it'll arrive tomorrow now. Who knows.. maybe even today. But I'm expecting tomorrow.
