Australian Order Shipped...

Delivered 8:45am.

I haven't even opened the box yet, just wanted to be the first to say I got one. All day to play with it now. :)
 
I got impatient, called my local depot. I'm glad I did as it was pretty clear there was a very good chance it either would not have made it out for delivery today or would have come very late in the day...end result they have put my packages aside for me at the depot and I'm off to pick them up :)
 
Got mine, it's syncing now. I should have gone with a 64gb, iTunes said theres not enough room on my iPad for my whole iTunes library. Maybe I'll have to go without some Top Gear episodes on my iPad.
 
Mine's still 'sighted at depo' which is annoying me because I want to go out and do things. Come on TNT :p
 
Give the Hume depot a ring pondie. Mines on my desk syncing as we speak after a short trip to pick it up.

Lady at the desk mentioned they had received 900 that morning, not bad for lil' ol' Canberra huh? ;)
 
Called TNT who said I can't pick it up until they've tried to deliver it (on Apple's direction). My order is not scanning as being on board for delivery but should be.

They said they've been overwhelmed by the numbers ordered and quoted 29,000.
 
Just picked one up at the Sydney (George St) Apple store - barely a 30 minute queue now. I also heard DJs have them and there is no queue there.

Apparently running short of 16 gig 3g but plenty of all other models.
 
This thing is brilliant. A lot of apps are still in their infancy, even the Apple ones like Bento and Numbers, that need further refinement and features added but I can really see the potential (reminds me of the early days of OSX 10.0.1).
