I do like bacon. I eat the turkey kind mostly, but when I visit my folks I get my father's famous Southern floured and fried bacon. It rocks.

I keep seeing this beef bacon at the store I'm considering giving a try I hear goodthings about it from the Hasidics

Yep, it sure does. If it's done right then there's a light crispy seasoned fried exterior and a soft juicy and meaty bacon middle. It's truly awesome. I thought my dad was the only one who made such a creation, but then I saw some diner on Food Network that is famous for the same thing. My parents are both true Mississippi born southern cooks. Too bad I only get home about twice a year.

BTW, never fry, bake it on a cookie sheet, with 1/2 " sides, dust the bacon with Penzey's Spices, "Foxpoint" blend- UNBELIEVABLE.
When finished, put in a food storage bag in the fridge, nuke for 30 seconds a slice when desired, bacon in 30 seconds
