OK, it's good news.
Bacon is available in the M.E. Discreetly. Very effing discreetly.
But it's there - at least in the more progressive cities.
Not everywhere. No no, that wouldn't do. Mustn't upset people.
But rest assured, I had an excellent bacon cheeseburger in Dubai very recently. While drinking a beer, no less.
Otherwise, you're stuck with a beef equivalent, which of course will be halal. It's an acquired taste for sure, but "sausage biscuits" are actually not too bad, especially if you judge it on it's own, non-bacon merits.
It does taste rather nice (when crispy), but it does seem very fatty and unhealthy, which is why I don't eat it often.
I never would have guessed... Is it a cultural/family thing, or a personal choice?

California Burger Joint Unleashes 100 Percent Bacon Burger
Slaters 50/50 in California can probably hold the title for making the hamburger with the most bacon, considering their new burger is exactly that100 percent bacon.
While it seemed that Burger Kings bacon sundae was the ultimate treat for bacon lovers everywhere, it seems that even it ant Wendys baconator cant even top the 3-location chains latest creation, according to Yahoo News.
The restaurant has seemingly come up with the ultimate burger for bacon lovers everywhere, titled The merica burger. Food Beast reports that the behemoth burger features a patty made up of 100% ground bacon, and is topped with a slice of thick cut bacon (as if the patty wasnt enough), a sunny side up egg, their new bacon island dressing (yes, even more bacon!), and a heavy slice of bacon cheddar cheese, prompting questions on if Slaters may be a little too preoccupied with the high in fat pig meat.
With the option of bacon on bacon on bacon on bacon, it seems like Slaters 50/50 has finally topped their 50/50 ground beef bacon blend patty. Yahoo News notes that if you want a taste of the action, however, youll have to head their way soon, because The merica burger is only available for a limited time.
If your budget doesnt allow you to take a road trip to California anytime soon, rest assured that Slaters 50/50 will have other bacon treats waiting for you when you get there, like bacon brownies and the Bakon Mary, a twist on the Bloody Mary that includes bacon-infused vodka, a rim of bacon salt, and a slice of thick cut bacon to garnish.

I cooked the best bacon I've literally ever tasted today.

crushed red pepper
spread the garlic and red pepper over the bacon while it cooks.

I really like bacon, but that seems a little excessive. Curiosity would definitely force me to try it, but I can't help but imagine something overly salty.
Check out the nutrition content on a package of pre-cooked bacon. The information on raw is for raw, and most of the fat drains out.
3 slices of precooked bacon... 70 calories, 6 grams of fat
Nature Valley granola bar... 190 calories, 6 grams of fat and a lot of carbs
I love bacon. Just the smell of it makes me hungry. I tried to go vegetarian once but as soon as I got the whiff of bacon I went back to eating it again. I feel hungry now...
