Sorry haven't been on in a while,

They refunded me via PayPal no problem. Which then goes to direct to my bank.

I returned the fake yesterday and they refunded me via Paypal within a few minutes.
I was mainly worried that they would give me a voucher and then i'd be £70 down, and that would be the moment someone puts up a SB Milanese on eBay for a good price lol :(

There's 2 Grade A in stock right now but i don't know if i should try again just yet.
I'm just so annoyed that people are going to CEX and selling their fake bands, i mean, what a dick move...

Blame the staff and how they are trained. Obviously they need more...

Just visited a CEX Store that stated they had 3 SB SS in stock on the website- but when I got there (to buy one for my other half) I discovered they were all SG Sport models. Then the guy behind the counter started arguing with me that they were SB - despite me actually wearing mine on my arm and showing him!
So i (after waiting 40 mins to be served) told them they need to educate themselves on what the difference in the models are. I cursed at him as they plainly argued and knew f all about the watches. Idiots! Think I'm done with CEX and their hippy useless staff. If they cannot tell the difference between models they should be trained more. Rant over!

does that mean they're selling the space greys at a higher cost than a new space grey from apple?

Well, the SB price is £235 watch only...I guess once shown that what they think is SB is actually SG, they will sell at that price. Good luck to them and their confusion!

I ordered a brown classic buckle from CEX over the weekend. Yesterday, I received a notice that the band shipped and providing me with a tracking number. Within an hour, I got a refund notification.

I'm assuming this means the band wasn't actually in stock after all and hasn't shipped? USPS doesn't recognize the tracking number when I enter it.

Whenever CEX have shipped my orders, the tracking number wouldn't work on the Post Office site, but then again it would arrive pretty quickly, usually the day after ordering.

And in regarding the SB Milanese loop, i've sent them a question/email to see if they could check the store that has it in stock to see if it's the real deal or not, i'm not sure if i'll get a answer or not, if it is the real thing, i'm snapping that up.
If not, i'll keep a eye on CEX and eBay for anyone else getting rid of their 42mm band. All eBay seems to have is the 38mm, and i won't be staying with the 38 when the second gen/next AW comes out, that's why i'm trying to buy this band now in preparation for it.

Hehehe maybe :p If it does show up, fair enough that's a huge bargain!
If not, hopefully you can catch another band soon :)

I just got a Grade A 42mm White Sport band today and it was perfect. $27.99 total. Definitely going to use them for getting more Sport bands, but I'm nervous about any of the more expensive Leather/Stainless Steel bands due to all the problems everyone else has been having.

I managed to grab a SB Milanese on eBay! It arrived this morning and you can definitely tell the difference, it feels so much more premium and it's got to be my favourite band at the moment, i absolutely adore it!

And before anyone points out that it's the wrong size in the picture below, I know, I'm just preparing for the next version of the Watch, and I also bought 2 sport bands in the same size too...I like to be prepared :p

Let's hope Apple doesn't screw us all over with the next Watch though, I'm pretty sure that there is plenty of people out there who would like to keep their current bands for when/if they upgrade, no matter what price they paid for the Watch PLUS their collection of bands...

I just received a grade B antique white sports band. It looks to be in totally pristine condition to me, and even came with some of the original packaging. I cannot figure out for the life of me why this was graded as a B. Added bonus: it has a gold pin, so it complements my rose gold watch better than the steel pin does...

Compare this to a grade B black sport band with black pin that I bought last month...it had the issue where parts of the top layer appealed to be peeling. I kept it and just rubbed off the peeling parts, but I definitely understood the B grade there.

Cost of the antique white band was $25 before shipping. Not a screaming deal but I don't see much of this color on eBay so I'm pretty happy with the price I paid.

How would I spot a fake band? Just got a SS link strap from cex and I'm picking it up on Wednesday.

Also.. In cex they had a space grey aluminium priced and labelled a a space black! When I asked to look at it and compared it to one that was marked correctly it was the same model!! And they didn't seem to know much about them at all

Keep checking the CEX site, prices still haven't come anywhere near down enough for me to buy anything else. Bought a grade a sports band is blue when the prices where low for £6, it's now £20.

My friend bought a Modern Buckle for £32 when we were on holiday a couple of weeks ago from a Cex there, but I think they are the only ones which are worth it at the moment (although, I have to say, I wasn't that impressed with it, and would feel absolutely robbed if I had paid the £209 Apple ask!). All the Sport Bands and Leather Loops are far too expensive at the moment - I too bought a Sport Band when they were under a tenner, and a Leather Loop at £30ish. Hope they come down again at some point.

Seems there are only "old" colors. Not any of the new colors for classic buckle or modern buckle. Strange after so many months.

I remember the day they had the Link bracelet for £106, that was a real bargain. I wonder if we're going to see them prices again. Biggest bargain I had was a grade a leather loop for £32, which was still sealed.

Yep, that's what I bought too. £32 for an unopened medium LL in stone, what a bargain!

I still would like a couple more sports bands. The midnight and Walnut. Both a £28 at the moment, which is too much.

Bit late to this thread, but am interested in picking up a SS link bracelet and CEX seem to have a few available at the moment. How can I tell if it's genuine when I receive it?

Have taken a punt on one, will see what happens when it arrives, the price was just too tempting!

If you ordered a grade a one, it should be easy to tell if it's genuine. For a couple of none grade a straps and bands I bought, I watched a couple of unboxing videos on YouTube to check for markings etc.
