Remember the items are sent by their stores, rather than a warehouse. I've noticed that when there's only 1 or 2 items in stock there's a chance that they will cancel the order if the store is unable to find the item.

According a member of staff in the Watford store, sometimes the delay is caused by lack of staff unable to pack your order.

Quite annoying that happens really. Surely if someone ordered it online the night before and a customer tried buying it the next day it should flag up on the till that it's been sold.

Have to admit when going into one of their stores there's nobody free to talk to. Was amazed how busy it is in there.

Annoyingly I've just been told the store checked it thoroughly and send all three pieces to me. Reply sent back.

CEX probably haven't updated their systems for years which probably doesn't help. It only comes off when the order has been removed manually.

My local one is always busy also, normally only a staffed by a couple of people. Mainly customers are trading in, rather than buying items I found. However they must to ok as the stores been there since I was at school which was a long time ago now!

Surprise suprise cex have cancelled my order for the third time now. I give up trying, will also be returning the black leather loop.

Their system is too old it seems to keep up with orders online with in store items.

Is it just me or have the sport band prices gone up even more?

I'm tempted to get the modern buckle in large while they're still cheap but it'd be touch and go if it actually fits. I'd need to get to an Apple Store first I guess.

Yep,

£28 for an orange sport strap, what a rip off

Prices have gone up even more now.

I swear I remember seeing the 42mm grade A black sports strap grey pin for £8 , I've seen it gradually go up to £18 now.

Don't think I'll be buying a strap now, prices are getting too close to what you can buy new, especially when grade A seems to be quite well used now.

Yep, supply v demand, supply is low and demands is high at the moment. Before Christmas CEX had 120 grade A link bracelets in stock for example.

Prices have really shot up today yet the bands are still not in stock. I won't be buying anymore from them but I did finally get my refund for the missing Blue Sport Band today (3 weeks exactly since I ordered it).

I'm happy with the unopened A grade Black Leather Loop I got for £40 from them though.

Managed to grab a few really good bargains, sealed light brown leather loop for £40, unopened blue sport band for £10 and sealed Milanese Loop for £48. Nearly £300 worth of straps and bans £98.

Probably the brown leather loop I've had to order 3 times and all got cancelled annoyingly.

Just returned the black leather loop though

What made you return the BLL? I find it's pretty uncomfortable but I love the looks..

Couldn't shift the smell it had on it, previous owner was a heavy smoker. Had to admit when I wore it for a few minutes it did feel uncomfortable. Much prefer the comfortability of the sports strap myself.

So, this is probably the end of this thread, all things considered!

I'm still considering the modern buckle, the only bargain they have left, but I can't get to an Apple Store to see if it's big enough to fit me.

Ahh I understand completely! I decided to keep mine, hardly wear it though.. Looks nice when dressed smart though.
