Well. This one has a happy ending - I just got a £6 partial refund on my white strap taking the cost down to £8.50 with P&P. It came with everything I needed for the wife to wear it anyway, so despite a lengthy ping pong email conversation I'm quite happy with the end result. Truth be told best I was hoping for was £2.50 back as goodwill refunding my postage.

What was wrong with it to make them give you a refund?

Probably too late for me to complain for the product red strap I got last month. Grade A with no m/l part, doesn't matter as I wear the s/m part though

Got a reply from CeX the other day and was promised to get an authentic replacement. The fake was sent out and will update with pictures when I get the new one.
Today I get a full refund. I am overseas at the moment and shipped the fake back by post. Today was the last day for paypal to close the claim, I was refunded the amount I paid. I will never buy from their website again.

I just received three modern buckles. One totally sealed and two opened but new in the box. And all three had boxes :) and came in total for 127,50 with shipping and afterwards 33 pounds for shipping with Forward2Me to Denmark. Compare this to 3x209 pounds in Apple retail stores.

But I'm surprised by the high retail price of these bands. They don't feel as ridgid and high quality like the classic buckle but that's just my opinion. I think most retails prices for the watch and straps are 2x as high as they should be.

Hi from Swedenthen!! :D Hur ser dem ut, är det "real deal" typ? Har du bilder? Vill beställa kanske :p

Dear me - £80 for a grade A medium light brown leather loop!

I picked up a stone grade A for £32 a couple of months ago - I really should've bought more (there were 4 stone/4 brown in stock at the time) as Cex are now paying more than they sold them for!

I can send you pictures if you like - but yes they are genuine and original :)

I'm considering selling my 38 mm watch due to the fact, I think it's too small for me. So maybe I'm putting the straps up for sale...

absolutely, send me! (or post here?). I have the 38mm one and am satisfied. I was sceptical at first but it has grown on me, feels like an accessory :)

Just been having a browse through. Can't believe some of the prices on the straps and bands. £215 for a Grade A link bracelet now. No wonder they have quite a lot of stock on certain items.

Wasn't it £115 around xmas time? No wonder this thread is dying.

Yes that's right. Looks to me that CEX have tried to cash in, being too greedy! but it hasn't worked. I'm sure all prices will start to come down now again now no ones buying anything.

£32 for a grade A midnight sport band! Come on CEX. That's crazy!

There's still a couple of straps I would like which are now in stock, but not at the price they have them on there at the moment.

£80 for a medium black leather loop grade a, which was £40 not so long ago.

I bought one for £40 from them around xmas time, don't even wear it lol. Every strap I wanted is in stock now but also nearly double the price...

Yeah it's shocking the prices, I brought a grade b brown leather loop 2 weeks ago for £40, last time I checked it went up to£70. I returned it though, thinking about it I should've held on and sold it back to them for a profit

I have 42mm Pink, Lavender and Walnut Sport Bands which I was going to trade into Cex, only to find that halfway through this week not only did prices rise, but trade-in prices plummeted! Went from £17 for Walnut grade A to £7.
