I think there's a lot of number based paranoia in this thread.

After all - how do you propose to get your phone replaced because of technical battery information you found using a jailbreak app?

Batteries die. It's a fact of life. Some batteries last longer than other batteries. Some batteries may be built with different tolerances. Some batteries will discharge quicker due to the type of use... I can see why this information is interesting, but beyond that?

So I brought the phone to the Apple store and had them look at it. According to their Behavior Scan software the battery reads "normal", so it didn't get swapped out.

Now I'm stuck on iOS6 with no jailbreak & possibly a crappy battery... great FML! Now I'll have to wait for iOS6 to be properly JB'd before JB'ing again.

Was your iPhone jailbroken on any previous iOS version? If so, you can downgrade using the latest version of redsnow. Cydia automatically stores your device's shsh blobs and redsnow can fetch them from their servers to downgrade your iPhone.

My ipad's battery has increased from 5900 to 6350 after charging it to 100% from 6-7% for a couple of times. I'll report back if iy keeps increasing.

I already tried that. It said that the blobs were not for this phone. The 5.1.1 blobs I had we're for a different phone. I originally had a 4S in white that I JB'd. Got the blobs for them. Then less than 3 weeks after having the phone my mute flip button broke. So in order to bring the phone to back to Apple, I had to upgrade to 6. I ended up getting a new phone but in black this time. My 5.1.1 blobs for the black phone were not there, only 6 was for the old white one. I later found out that they get removed from Apple's server. Tiny Umbrella and Cydia only had the 6 blobs. So I believe I'm SOL until 6 gets properly JB'd.

That sucks. Well, in the meantime enjoy your fast iPhone :) (my 4 always slows down by a lot after installing a couple of tweaks haha but I don't even use winterboard...)

Ok, i think i figured it out. When i installed ios 6.0.1, my battery max capacity was 1220 from 1420.
I did the tethered jailbreak with redsnow, and now it shows 1315, after about 5-6 charge cycles. I let the battery drain to about 50%, then charge it fully for about 3 hours. This seems to do the trick. Will report back after some more cycles. I have an iphone 4, about one year old. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1353455916.745312.jpg

Has anybody had success with a replacement battery? Mine dropped to 1258mAh after just 82 cycles. Are the replacement batteries so much worse than the original one?

No. They're brand new so your cycle count starts at 0 again. I had mine replaced after this app telling me my battery health and I have much better battery life than before. Although I don't think this app is 100% accurate.

Hello ,
Plz can u guys tell my current battery situation !

Iphone 4S , 5.1.1 and jailbroken ..

I bought it in 9\12\2011
So after a year here is the results?
Also what does mean cycle counts?

Help please

the values in batterylite info for my iphone 3gs 16gb are
max capacity 967mAh
design capacity 1200mAh
cycle count 877

can anybody tell me whether it is in a good condition or a bad condition?

Anyone know if there is an app for un-jailbroken iPhones that will tell me current and designed mah and recharge cycles etc similar to this app? I am guessing Apple does not want us to keep and eye on the battery deterioration of the iPhone.

Honestly, with 900 cycles, i'm surprised it's not worse. How long does your battery last on average from 100% to 0?

my battery usually lasts for around 12 to 14 hours if i use it only for calls and not perform anyother function like games, movies or listening to music. Although my concern is, how to know when to change my iphone 3gs battery ?

I would change your battery as soon as you're able. It seems to be working fine currently, but it could clunk out at any minute.

Anyone confirm if this works on iOS6.x? Took a while to finally get it to install. Attempt to open app, drops to springboard immediately.

I can't run this app on my iPad mini or iPhone 5 yet.... How long should a fix take?

I'm using BatteryInfo for Notification Center on my iP5. What is bothering me is that after 94 cycles it is showing my battery below 90%. What are Apples rules on battery replacement again? Was it 80% during the first year? I'm well on my way...

Welcome,

I have charged my device at 70% daily, and I have not completed a full charge cycle (< 20%) since March 3. I have included a report, below:

My iPad 2:

February 4
Capacity: 6,392 mAh
Load cycles: 278

February 10
Capacity: 6,366 mAh
Load cycles: 283

March 3
Capacity:
6,523 mAh (discharging)
6,509 mAh (charging)
Load cycles: 300

March 26
Load cycles: 319

Lowest capacity: 6,322 mAh
Highest capacity: 6,539 mAh

According to the report, it appears that my battery capacity has been fluctuating.

I have been concerned about whether I should complete a full charge cycle within this week, or charge the battery at 70%. I do not know what will decrease the capacity more rapidly.

To maintain excellent performance (> 6,583 mAh), when should I charge the battery and how should I handle it?

I will reply as soon as possible!

Let's hope my iPhone 5 battery isn't dying.

Current Capacity 1140 (79.72%)
Design capacity 1430
219 Loadcycles

I have been playing Real Racing 3 a lot though. So have been consuming the battery.

I don't think these battery apps are very accurate. I jail broke my brand new iPad immediately and it showed 100% capacity. After the first charge it went down to 96%. Before 500 charge cycles your battery will be fine. It's probably best to not obsess over it.

Calibration

After completely draining my battery April 28, my capacity was calibrated from 6,469 to 6,174, with 342 charge cycles.

Any suggestions?
