Me neither. Semi-transparent cases can work when there's something interesting or cool to look at inside. Quite a lot of this thing is just empty space.
Because Apple will not spend the money on re-tooling their manufacturing processes.
I did try the studio buds last year, I loved the design but found the sound quality really poor (too many mids, muffled sound). As Apple Music offers no equalizer to control lows, mids and highs I had to return them.
There will never be anything but white AirPods.
It’s a matter of branding and that falls apart once you could mistake AirPods for anything other than AirPods.
Your best bet is colorware or whatever that company is called these days.
Does anyone know whether the current Studio Buds earpieces are smaller/more compact than those of the Beats Fit Pro? I tried the Beats Fit Pro. Unfortunately the Fit Pro’s shape caused pain after only a short time of wearing them. The wing tip was not the problem, rather the bulbous shape of the earbud.
Would love to try these new Studio Buds+. The transparent design looks awesome!

Yes, just like any other headphone company has to do (and does) because of ANC patent trolls.
According to the product description this new model will. The older version doesn't.
Just look over at subreddits (or older forums that has since been 'replaced' with reddit) from Bose and Sony and you'll see exactly the same things, even from far before Apple was in the ANC headphone business.
It's basically an open secret now that headphone manufacturers will have to tune down their ANC's after release because of patent trolls. But that's after the first reviews, so they basically don't care.
Feels like they are just trying to be cool like Nothing who is actually cool.
I’m curious if the new Studio Buds+ will be nicer than the Fit Pro in any meaningful way. Although the fact that we just got new colors for the Fit Pro strongly suggests that an updated model is not imminent.
Alas, no. The Beats Studio Buds + lack the H1 chip need for seamless switching between Apple devices.
