Would I be able to use the Beats by Dre Tour earphones with this? The plug on them has a 90 degree angle on them.

Absolutely love this case but today I looked at the case on the side of the ipad without the volume switch (about half way down) and noticed a slight bump in the plastic. You don't really notice it unless you look for it and I think it might be the injection point for when they made the case but was wondering if anyone else with this case has this as well.

Either way it's such a minor thing I would not bother exchanging it for another but I'm curious if others have this.

Just got mine yesterday and Love it!

I'd prefer to keep my iPad naked, but I want the grip to it when holding the iPad! Plus, protect the aluminum case from scratches and keeping it clean!

I also like the way the volume and the on/off switch is enclosed!

Belkin did a great job and all slots line up perfectly! Not exactly cheap! However, this is a case that you get what you pay for! I highly recommend this protective case! Oh the one I have is the transparent one! ;)

PS no bump here --))

i really think this is THE clear case for the iPad. It fits well and all of the reviews seem legit and positive. It's more money than some of the other ones out their, but I think its money well spent when you consider the aggravation factor of ordering a cheaper case, waiting and then discovering it doesn't fit and dealing with the return etc.

This is the case for me. Decision made.

Looked at my case, my "bump" is smooth but I can see where it would have been...KWIM? Maybe your bump hadn't been smoothed down yet.

bump is poor choice of words on my part, its more like a visible injection point but smooth-can't really feel it but you can see it only if you look for it. Either way it's such a minor thing it does not stand out, detract or cause any issues. Just me being obsessive. Not planning a return as I love the case.

I really liked the Grip Vue clear case, however I finally got my official Apple iPad case and I really like it, I don't know why everyone seems to hate it, it is exactly what I wanted.

I think I am just going to get rid of the Grip Vue now because I just can't see myself using it anymore. Just not my type of case, it's a personal preference thing I guess.

I've had mine a little over a week. Just took it off to clean under the edges and it was a bear to get off! I'm hoping taking it on and off won't stretch it out. All in all, I still love the case. I also bought a incase netbook sleeve to hold it while it's in my purse, traveling, etc. :D

These pics look exactly like the Macally flex fit, which is also a tpu form fitting case. The holes line up perfect. I bought the flex fit from oncall.com for 18.99.

Looks like it from the front, but the back as that big Macally logo on it, right in the middle of the case. Kind of ruins the look for me. Belkin made theirs as a small raised relief, running down the side, and clear so you can't really see it.

I would assume that the Grip Vue case would have no impact on 3G signal on the 3G model? Aside from the black strip across the top of the 3G unit, the 3G iPad is the same dimensions as the wifi model (just a little heavier), and I guess that all plastic (no matter how many layers) is radio-transparent?

Also, does anyone have a clue on how much the boxed product weighs? I'm just trying to get an estimate on shipping from the US via BundleBox.

I just bought a Grip Vue, and the boxed product weighs 11 oz.

Ordered one in Black, should be arriving soon.

I was reading about how the only drawback on this case is the amount of room around the headphone jack, I'm sure the standard Apple Earbuds Jack will fit but others may not.

I also read that if you use some kind of knife to just shape the area a little, more of a clearance will be made.

Hello boys. I might exchange mine to the black one. It seems the clear is turning into a yellowish... Before 14 days they will refund, after 14 days to 30 they will accept exchange right?

Would love to see pics of someones ipad with the black one installed on it. While I have not had issues with my clear it might be nice to pick up a black one as backup.

Besides the yellowing (which sucks donkeys), how did it deal with dust and other particles that got in between the iPad and the case? Was it easy to see the dust/hairs/particles that got between the case and the iPad?

I can't see any dust or hair in mine. The fit is really snug so there isn't a lot of opportunity for dust to get in there. Also I think it is just thick enough and just hazy enough that it minimizes the appearance of any dust/dirt that is there.

Got the smoke black. And yes, it is the new revision. I kinda like it because it is much thinner and very minimalist design. The cover around the lips is not bad. Actually it is much better than the old one.

So iCaved and bought the Belkin Grip Vue today when I was at the Apple Store at Westfield Century City. I got the smoke black tinted one, not the clear one. From the pictures in the other thread, it appears that I got the original version.

So far it seems nice, but I'll have to see if I end up liking it (and deciding that it is worth $50) over the next couple of weeks. It really does provide a good grip to the iPad..... it's more comfortable in my hands. I haven't used it for an extended period yet, but I'll have to see if the extra weight from the case is noticeable.

My main concern is that dust/particles will somehow get under the case and will be annoying to look at. I decided to give it a go because of Apple's 14 day return policy with no restocking fee.

If I like it, I'll keep it. If not, I'll return it and wait until the Incipio Dermashot that I pre-ordered from Amazon arrives (if they ever decide to actually ship it:rolleyes:).

I love the Grip Vue, but camera connection adapters will not fit into the slot with it on.

damn! the camera kit will not fit! returning this again.. ill just wait for the 3rd revision
