I ordered one yesterday for my 13" MBA. Can't wait to see your pics.

Just wondering, but can you link me to the Hard Graft case for the 13" MBA? I can't find it. All I see is the one for the 11" model.

P.S. I realize that that I am asking someone to link me to a specific page even though their post is 3 months old, so just you all know, I'm aware of that. ;)

I have that exact sleeve, and I wholeheartedly second this. My wife got it for me for Christmas and I have no complaints whatsoever. Snug fit and extremely well-made. Anyone looking for a sleeve for the 11.6" Air should consider this one.

Does this case experience any wear in the form of furballs and wool thinning?

I have had wool cases before and there is a tendency for them to wear down in this manner. Just want to make sure before I drop $70 bones on it.

I've only had it a few weeks, but I do use it everyday. I have experienced no issues so far - no pilling or thinning. It helps that, if you carry it by itself as opposed to in another bag, they've given you a leather patch to grab so your hand isn't gripping the wool itself. I'm really happy with it!

I really like this one. Nice and slim. But I'm wondering if they’re sold anywhere in the US so I don’t have to pay extra? Did it take a while to receive yours?

I ordered one like this from china on eBay over a month ago. Item never received. Now the seller is skipping town. Hopefully eBay will refund. Often not fun buying on eBay.

I just got a waterfield suede sleeve case, from SF bags. Will be doing a review on Gadgetmac in the next few days if people are interested. So far it's VERY thin and real nice.

I bought the Colcasac Zagora a few weeks ago. The first one they sent me seemed a bit big, which turned out to be the wrong one. It was one for a 13" MBP, not the MBA. The second one they sent did seem smaller, but the fit was not 100% on the 2010 13" MBA. It was just a tad bit too tight, and the sleeve is crooked. So I asked if they could check their inventory and make sure the next one is right. When I received the third one, it was also not right even though they tested it.

Customer service has been friendly, and great. However, I do not believe they had the right measurements for the 2010 13" MBA.

I just emailed Colcasac again, so I hope they can correct this. At this point, I could not recommend the MBA one. However, the MBP 13" is great! =)

Just received my Incase neoprene sleeve and I'm loving it! Very well designed-it fits like a glove! Extremely happy thus far :)

Did you order this from the manufacturer's website or a retail store? I am looking at picking one up for my 11".

Jolioriginals (my GF's company) also has new sleeves in stock

http://jolioriginals.com/
She sold a lot of them in november/december (look at the feedback), all happy customers :)
I'm using mine for a couple of months now, and it still rocks a lot better than all the neoprene stuff I had a few years ago.

But why do they cost $75!

I know it's a lot of money, but she earns almost nothing on it at the moment.
The explanation is quite simple, it's high quality leather and real woolfelt.

So slick. It even has an outside pocket. I'll post a review when it arrives.

Thanks for posting, this is the sleeve I just ordered because I like the nice and clean look. :D

I ordered it directly from Incase at goincase.com. It retails for $40, almost $50 with taxes and shipping. The sleeve doesn't appear on Apple's website, but I've heard some retail stores carry them. Good luck!

Some bestbuys and Apple stores have them. Picked one up from the Apple store in Palm Desert on the weekend, though they are not listed online.

I saw the Incases at my local Apple store today. They cost $39.00. I don't think they are worth it. Try Amazon.com.

I have just received the Waterfield vertical sleeve with flap and mini vertical piggyback and the VertiGo bag. The sleeve is great-a snug fit with nice padding. I can carry the Air in just the sleeve, or use the VertiGo for extra protection and space. It is not the least expensive combination, but it has to be one of the best.

I bought the Be.ez Robe Allure for my 11" a couple of days ago. So far I'm really liking it; it seems to be well-made and is very stiff. It's also a zippered case, which I prefer for taking to campus.

The one downside to note is that the material dents very easily. I didn't realize the AC cord was resting against the case and now it has a large dent. It's slowly coming out through the day, but it makes me wonder how the case will look over time. In the end though it's more of a small annoyance as I would rather have my case be dented than my MBA ;)

How do you like the VertiGo bag? Which size are you using for the 11" MBA?

i just received my speck protective case - shipped to canada within 2 days (right after ordering!!)

i have to say the price i paid is a small price for something that will protect your laptop from dings and scratches (or most of them)

i have the speck case for my 17" (1+ yr) and i have to say speck is pretty reliable and slick.

should definitely check them out if you're considering to get a protective shell.

i added the qbn.com sticker btw.

This is the link to the combination I bought
http://sfbags.com/products/mambocombos/vertigosuite.htm
I got the recommended medium size.
The bag is great. It has an outside pocket on front and back, and two on the inside. The bottom is wide enough that the bag can stand upright. It is not too big for just the Air sleeve by itself, but there is room for my iPad and the mini vertical piggyback(for cables, charger) also.

Ordered my MBA 11" sleeve and matching iPhone 4 case from Joli Originals today, in black leather with matching red felt.

Can't beat custom made quality to your own spec and personal service.

I tend to worry that any thin slipcase which has a button, rivet, etc. on the closure located over the computer will focus the energy of a broad impact into a single point inside the case resulting in a dent or puncture of the aluminum skin of the computer.

First of all, we're not sure if this is the proper section to post this, so please accept my sincere apology if we made a mistake.

Well, if you would have read the forum rules, you would have noticed that advertising is not allowed here, but whatever...

Some feedback on your sleeve:
  • Pricing looks great. Looks like good value for money
  • It looks exquisitely crafted! Especially the sewn in velcro etc..
  • Add some color options (how about a natural brown leather option? I would pay double for that as that is a more expensive leather type. Think "The Bridge" leather). The grey looks very cheap. (edit: I read on your site that it's actually white. That is much better imho, but that makes the photos on the site not good, because it looks grey at first sight...)
  • Add a 13" MBA option.
  • Please remove the logo or make it smaller, or put it in another spot under the flap or whatever. It looks cheap to make it this big. Tucano also does this and it is not good.
  • calling it your brainchild and creation is a bit far fetched don't you think? As I remember it was Steve Jobs himself who introduced the MBA by pulling it out an envelope (the standard yellow paper one). Leather envelope sleeves have since been available on the market everywhere.

Good luck and happy sales!
