I like this one, looks good.. :)

Well, if you would have read the forum rules, you would have noticed that advertising is not allowed here, but whatever...

Some feedback on your sleeve:

[*] calling it your brainchild and creation is a bit far fetched don't you think? As I remember it was Steve Jobs himself who introduced the MBA by pulling it out an envelope (the standard yellow paper one). Leather envelope sleeves have since been available on the market everywhere.

Good luck and happy sales!

Probably the first commercial "Manila Envelope Sleeve" called the "AirMail" was produced by a couple of young "hippie" entrepreneurs shortly after the first MacBook Air was released. They had a lot of difficulties and delays in getting their little business up and running, but they held on and delivered what they promised to the prepaid customers who were (impatiently) waiting for them. They never expected the deluge of orders they received!

I'd like to put another vote in for Hard Candy Cases bubble sleeve.

I already had this for the iPad so I knew what to expect. Nice ballistic nylon with a rigid center. The bubbles help from bumps in the bag. The rubber bumpers inside help secure it even more.

I don't generally like all of the stuff that Hard Candy does, but I think this design is a winner.

It's most like the Booq Vyper which I am also a fan of.

They currently have free shipping on their site, and Amazon also has it and it ships free. (although there is a 1-2 month wait on Amazon)

Highly recommended

Its not cheap looking or feeling. I have one for my 13". Read his review.

I have one, along with several other Waterfield items. I'm impressed with the other items, but this suede sleeve is overpriced and looks cheap. It certainly isn't worth the money.

I'll throw in another vote for the MUSE sleeve by Moshi. I just got this last night and it is fantastic. It has a really slim profile and fits the MBA perfectly, yet even has another pocket for additional (small) items. It won't provide much protection if dropped, but as a sleeve to protect against scratches I have no complaints.

Well you're entitled to your opinion of course, but in case you can't quite understand, I'll say it again...

I think it looks and feels cheap.

There are many more products available of far superior quality, this is reminiscent of the free case you get with Samsung netbooks, cheap.

My cheap ebay neoprene sleeve finally arrived.

It is just as expected = kind of lame, but will be work for my purposes (as my MBA doesn't leave the house all that often).

I understand that you can fit the 11'' MBA in some sleeves, but a lot of the ones mentioned are for an iPad.

Specs are a tad different between the 2 products, but some sleeves accommodate both dimensions... I get it, if it fits... it fits!

I still am looking for the right sleeve for my MBA 11"...

I recently purchased this leather sleeve for my 11" Ultimate MBA...it was somewhat expensive ($76.00) but I must admit, it is about the finest made sleeve I have ever seen...the fit is snug with no room for movement inside, the "New Buck Suede" leather is of VERY high quality (Italian made), very thick yet supple and soft to the touch, the stitching is of the highest quality, the "silk-like" inner linning is extremely soft and very well padded (this sleeve is well padded enough and with the thickness of the outer leather, I'd feel confident that if I were to drop it from a reasonable distance it would be well protected) and the heavy duty zipper's underside is shielded with an underlining that protects the MacBook Air from being scratched by it...
Definitely worth the money (after seeing and feeling this sleeve, I can honestly say I would pay over $100.00USD for it and not feel like I over paid)...
Sorry for the "not so great" photos as they do not do justice to this beautifully crafted work of art. It looks SOOOOOO much better in person...never could take a decent picture...LOL
FYI, I also have a Zagg InvisiShield on it which explains the "shininess of the MBA"...

Honestly, I wasn't sure about paying $76.00 for a sleeve but it looked so beautiful and well made that I thought I would just order it and probably send it back but much to my surprise, the $76.00 price seems like a steal for the high end materials and artisan-like workmanship of this beautiful sleeve as it will surely outlast the life of the computer. It is worth WELL over $100+USD...I am so very happy with it...:)

i posted links to this case in the 13" thread. was torn between this and the ultra slim one. decided to get this in black.

it is really high quality. my only complaint is that the metal zip stopper was not tucked in properly on one side. but that doesnt affect it's performance and can easily be remedied.

i did notice on the invoice i received that is says "value for customs USD 39.45". do you have something like this too?

Yes, I have that same notice...I'm not sure just what its meaning is but I will tell you that if I could get these sleeves for $39.00USD, I'd have about 5 of them...(I'm thinking that might be the cost of the materials and doesn't include the workman ship/labor which in the case of this well made sleeve would be quite substantial as these are CLEARLY hand stitched)

This is the finest made sleeve I've ever seen and as I said earlier, after seeing and feeling it I would pay over $100USD and not feel at all like I overpaid...this sleeve will last for 20+ years...it just gets softer and better looking every day and like an old well made Italian leather jacket, it just feels like it was "custom made" for my computer...could't be happier...the best $76.00 I have spent in a long time...I've already had two people ask if they could touch it and asked where they could get one for their Mac Notebook...
BTW, mine is the "Dark Vintage" which is a soft buck suede leather...there are IIRC, two other leather choices...(one in darker brown that is more cowhide and not as soft and one black...there are several other colors available in the regular "cowhide" leather)

How long did it take to deliver to the US?

I ordered from San Diego California on January 12th and received it on January 19th so about a week between ordering and receiving...came FED-X...
BTW, I just checked my email order confirmation and I only paid $76.00USD for mine, not the $79.00 USD it shows now as the price...weird...maybe a conversion rate thing...

So slick. It even has an outside pocket. I'll post a review when it arrives.

http://store.moshimonde.com/muse-11-gray.html

Just received two of these in the mail for our two new MBAs. Of all of the sleeves/cases that I've seen, this is the only one that I actually felt could have been designed by Apple. It compliments the computer like you wouldn't believe. If anyone is considering purchasing one of these, I can tell you that you won't be disappointed.

Targus Neoprene Slipskin Peel Netbook Slip Case

I looked several cases and decided on this one, simply because of the nice design and price. Sure, there are some very high prices cases that are extremely stylish, but this Targus one serves the purpose of protecting my MacBook Air when it’s just lying around the house, or when I want to take my Air with me without using the larger carrying bag. I always wanted a side pocket for one or two peripherals, and this one works fine. It’s about in inch larger than my 11” Air, but I didn’t want a tight fitting case that would make it difficult to put netbook in and take out.

the sleeve for 11" air cost $76 so that's about right. i prefer the pebbled leather of the black sleeve. it seems a little more durable.

oh and you forgot to mention how awesome the thing smells.
