Best Buy iPad pre orders......

So retail you can't even order them right now - yesterday was showing the date of the 23rd (the 512, SG, LTE, 12.9)

I called for a status on my backorder and apparently in the Edu store you just.... sit there. It will ship when they get inventory in was the gist of the message (the guy had never seen the exact verbiage before). So hopefully in the next 2 weeks - now i'm antsy for it to arrive. Thankfully the upgrade to my Air seemed to have been a miracle - not one crash with last nights insomnia!!

haven't been on this site in months and just found out yesterday (friday) that there is a new ipad pro 12.9. yes im late to the party...

has there been word on when best buy would have these in stores, or when the product will officially be launched in stores? I am not much of an apple user (the first gen pro was my only apple device ever) and i dont know now the apple in store shenanigans work..

congrats to those who already have them. im sure the "backlight issues" threads and "im returning because..." threads will start to crop up..

Maybe I been lucky. I was able to get one iPad Pro 10.5 64gb space grey on launch day. And today I was able to walk into bestbuy and get a second one 10.5 rose gold 256gb. No issues, just walked in, they had almost all in stock. Not sure about 12.9 models, since I didn’t ask about those.

FYi, if you ordered and later cancelled your iPad pre-order they will eventually charge you for the antivirus download and gift card. You have to call them and cancel those items and they will give you a refund. My gift card arrived in the mail and they said I could just toss it.
