Looks good. Would be nice if they made a model without the nerd clip.

The Crusta does seem to be an interesting case. The tempered glass back is rather unique and looks better than the Commuter (with that annoying logo punch out). If any one has it please post photos as there doesn't seem to be much "in the wild" photos or third party reviews of the case.

My son bought an OtterBox for his iPhone 6, and while it's a bit big for my tastes it really seems to fit well, and it does not feel like you are using a screen protector.

However, he initially had a Zagg HDX screen protector in place and it prevented a proper fit and left what looked like an oil slick between the OtterBox screen protector and the zag screen protector.

Once we removed the zag protector everything was just right.

Not sure if anyone else has responded but you can remove the Otterbox built in screen protector and use the tempered glass instead. My husband has a case similar to an Otterbox and that is exactly what we did because he liked the feel of the tempered glass much more than the plastic from the case.

Of course, it goes without saying that temping that built in protection cuts down on the protection that case offers from dust getting in it but it's a trade off for a better user experience in my opinion.

Most of the iPhone 6 users are looking for an iPhone 6 that is slim and thin, well for me I would love to go outdoors as well as always doing some mountain hiking and other outdoor related stuff every month, I ‘m looking for an rugged case for my new iPhone 6, my officemate recommend this one he said it good and rally tough.

Well I just want a second opinion any suggestions or rugged case that you used before that is good, heavy duty?

:)

Griffin is much better if you are going to ask me.

I agree. My buddy just got the Griffin, and not only is it comically huge, and over priced, but the screen protector is garbage. It seriously degrades the clarity.

He works construction so he needed "ultimate" protection. I have to say though that even though my Ibason case is no where as thick I feel like it is better protection. Having the integrated screen protector as a structural part of the case will hopefully do more to save the screen.

I just picked up a Pelican Voyager. I've seen good and bad reviews. It's thinner than an otterbox or griffin, and I think it's a pretty good case. Some users said they had trouble removing the case. It is a little tough, but still a good protective case. I needed something for the job site, and this one comes with a holster.

Is that on a 6 or 6 plus? How thick would you say it is? On their website I think the dimensions are incorrect. Thanks!

Is there a case similar to the amzer crusta without a glass case?

Or cases built in with a tempered glass screen protector?

It's a plus, the whole case is about as thick as a deck of cards. The phone is recessed in so that the screen is protected. I tried to post more pics, not sure what happened.

I was considering the Pelican Voyager. It is supposed to be a rugged case and of course I wanted the most rugged case available for my thin iphone 6. When I removed the Voyager from it's packaging, I found it fairly easy to twist the casing which I was not able to do to that extent with the defender.

I got one to use at work for my 6. It is quite stout once on the device.

That being said, I later broke down and decided to try a spigen tough armor due to the excellent reviews. Mine is most likely a knock off considering it was only 6.99 shipped from China on ebay (it looks and fits perfect, however), but I'll probably stick with spigen from now on. I dropped the phone within 10 minutes of fitting the case and it protected the phone just fine.

The Pelican Voyager is built extremely well and, imo, is just as protective as the defender would be...while looking better, again imo.

I've had it for 3 days now [ been thru the Apple leather case, Spigen Air Cushion, and Incipio Dual Pro ] and I honestly cannot find any major faults. Would've been nice if the power and volume buttons were a bit easier to depress, but I'm getting used to it.

I didn't bother using the supplied screen protector because I already have the Zagg tempered glass on the iphone.

The Apple leather case is just ...blah. Looks real sharp [ esp the midnight blue ] but I don't foresee it providing any drop protection.

The Spigen Air Cushion looks, and feels great! Only if it had sightly better front screen protection, I'd hang on to it !!

The Incipio Dual Pro, just like the Air Cushion, falls short on front screen protection, and the slightly slippery back didn't help either.

So far, the Pelican Voyager has been great. Great construction and, from what appears to be, amazing drop protection for back and front.

It nicely covers the glass edges that current tempered glass protectors don't. Makes me feel very confident using the Voyager.

The Voyager does add some bulk.. and makes my Note 3 feel almost feather weight now! But, it's a trade off I'm willing to accept to offset any damage from drops.

The holster and clip are rock solid, and I never felt the device would pop out and fall. At this point, it seems like $60 well spent!

wait what? it doesn't protect the front...is that what you are saying?

I'm still waiting for the otterbox defender revised case. I am currently using the prematurely released defender with all it's glitches. I just don't see anything out there as of yet that is quite as rugged as this case. Hopefully the shortcomings will be addressed by otterbox and soon!

I haven't seen any cases that I really think is a good rugged case. I'm in a search for one for my brother who works in New Mexico. He treks around the desert all day on foot so I'm guessing I'll see when life proof comes out. It truly needs to be tough, dust proof and waterproof/resistant

Been thru various cases and the Pelican Voyager is still the best, IMO of course...

I have one extra one for sale [ all black ] if anyone is interested. :)
