Good comparison however watch this from the same reviewer:

They mention the biggest issue I had with the survivor which was hazy photos and videos. I returned the case the same day I purchased it however one could cut out the camera protecting cover to fix the issue.

That being said and the fact the screen is a little diffused with the screen protector it's one of the best made durable cases and at least to me the iPhone 6/6+ versions of survivor aren't as bulky as they use to be.

I liked the case so much I wrote the company and they are aware of the issue and considering doing a SecondEdition of the case. But as of now nothing is decided.

Pelican Case all the way. I'm a huge fan of "Ballistic" and "Otterbox". I had never tried the Pelican iPhone case but have a couple gun cases made by them and they are legit, so I figured I'd try their iPhone Plus 6 case. This is the best case I've ever used, it's thin but offers great protection. I've dropped my iPhone twice and didn't even sweat it. I love not having the bulk and heaviness of the Ballistic or Otterbox, and I'm convinced the Pelican offers twice the protection. The secret I've learned about getting the phone out of the case is to slide a credit card around the edges and it opens up with no problems.

good tips.. I would still pick the Griffin over Otterbox for the Pelican not that familiar

I was considering the Pelican Voyager. It is supposed to be a rugged case and of course I wanted the most rugged case available for my thin iphone 6. When I removed the Voyager from it's packaging, I found it fairly easy to twist the casing which I was not able to do to that extent with the defender.

I think the otterbox is still the best case after a screen modification. The buttons on mine have broken in considerably and I prefer the slimness, level of protection and hardnes of the rubber on the otterbox.

Yes I believe the Otterbox really is superb in protection.. they just failed in aeathetic design I think

Most of all, from what I read on here, I believe the Otterbox failed on actually just fitting to our phones.

I've gone with a Griffin Survivor All Terrain. It's a pretty decent case.

Why are they the worst (UAG)?
They aren't even close to the worst. As a matter of fact, UAG is near the top for protection and fitment.

Personally, I believe that the negative comments toward UAG are a result of people who have received fakes.

There are a ton of UAG fakes out there. The authentic UAG case is very good.

How do you determine which are real and which are fake?

Yes, There is a reason Otterbox sells so many cases. It's true there are some issues with their latest defender, but I'm sure they will be addressed asap.

Most water proof cases are 80+
Tiktak 360 is using Gorilla Glass as it's built in screen protector add that with their build quality that price isn't as bad as it looks.

I'd do some research to see what other people are saying about that case before buying it. I bought one not too long after they were released for my iPhone 4. A LOT of people were having really bad rainbow effect and the company was not communicating very well at the time (both issues may have improved since). The rainbow effect was really bad on the one I received and I could NOT get rid of it, it took up 2/3 of the screen and was so bad that it was distracting even with the phone on. I've had that same issue with Otterbox Defenders but never really noticed it once the screen was on. Anyway, I returned mine the next day. For $125 the case should be perfect, especially since they claim to use Gorilla Glass and not some cheap plastic.

It is a beautiful case, the materials and craftsmanship seemed top notch. I'm not saying these issues still exist, I have no idea. I'm just suggesting that people seek out reviews from real users before forking over $100+ on the case.

My son bought an OtterBox for his iPhone 6, and while it's a bit big for my tastes it really seems to fit well, and it does not feel like you are using a screen protector.

However, he initially had a Zagg HDX screen protector in place and it prevented a proper fit and left what looked like an oil slick between the OtterBox screen protector and the zag screen protector.

Once we removed the zag protector everything was just right.

Yep. I have a genuine UAG case and it's actually very good. That surprised me a little.

I bought a pelican pro gear voyager at the AT&T store, pricey and more than a little bulky. It's a $@()! to remove (was only able to do once), but it'll will protect the phone from drops.

@ alchematron, thanks for posting the Bric case link. Out of my league right now, but looks like a terrific case. Otterboxes are cheap and overrated. Mine broke from gentle removal within 3 weeks of purchase.

It's not hard to remove, there's a notch at the bottom corner where you can pop it open with a coin.

The Pelican didn't seem as robust as the defender and I was able to twist the casing on the Pelican which was more difficult with the defender. In addition, I too heard how difficult it was to remove the Pelican which ultimately turned me off.

I ordered online and then returned the Voyager. I agree it just wasn't robust enough for me. I have a Ballistic Tough Jacket on the way now.
