No I was tempted at the AT&T store. I thought to open the case you insert a coin to open the bottom of the case. Why is it so hard to uninstall? And that shot of the screen protector, does it not seat properly??

How is the flaps on the bottom. Any interference with mic or speaker? In your pics (6+ I presume) did you remove the screen protector?

Hard to explain, basically they should have put a place to insert a coin to open on each corner. You can unclip the one corner with the coin but then the other 3 wont come undone because the case is fitted like a damn glove. Actually just messed the case up trying to separate it so that I could access my phones sim card tray. Now I have my phone in the clear best buy insignia case, and wow what a great case for 15 bux. Will submit pics shortly.

I got this Insignia Friday morning at BB before FedEx delivered. It is a good case for $15 but not impact resistant. I also got the otter box defender but its pretty boxy feeling. So then you don't recommend the Pelican?

I definitely recommend it, just a bitch to open up to get phone out.

Great then I will give it a go. I golf a few times per week and use Golf GPS app during the round. With my defender on the IP5 it did a good job keeping the dust out - except for where the opening was for speaker and mic.

I heard the Pelican is a bit of a dust magnet.... I sure hope not.

One more question - in your 1st pic I saw the screen protector on the Pelican somewhat bubble. How does the protector install?

Peel off the backing and apply. They made it the right size, but since the screen is rounded on the edges there is no way for it to adhere. I pulled it off and trashed it. Getting a separate screen protector tonight.

Interesting. Looking at the youtube videos from Pelican they say to peel the strips off, place it inside the top frame, then place the phone on top and snap the back case on.

Make sure your watching the video for the iPhone 6+ the guy just shows the camera the screen protector and then doesn't even install it.

Anybody ever heard of the Hitcase? Appears extremely durable. 33ft water submersion. Switchable camera lenses. Looks interesting, but I've never seen one or heard of them...

I had one for a little bit for my 5S and it worked well before I switched to a Lifeproof. It's more of a 'put it for specific event' case though as opposed to full time case so you'll be putting it in and pulling it out often; i.e. if you want to make it waterproof when you head to the beach or dust proof for biking.

Ballistic

I got the Best buy version for $39.99 and doesn't come with the holster or screen protector. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ballist...skuId=8697036&st=iPhone 6 plus case&cp=1&lp=2

It's big in my pocket and the rounded edges make it look kinda big bit other then the edges it doesn't add much to the width. Provides good lip protection to the front and it feels like it could be dropped from a second story building if it landed on its back.

No issues with ports but it does add heft to the phone.

It's tough and coming from a loyal Otterbox customer (4s, 5, 5s) other than the protection otterbox offers on the front I'd say this is more durable everywhere else then previous otterbox models.

Any pics please. And is it a pain to remove the phone from case once installed.
Thanks Bryan.

Is a lot easier to get in and out than before - just 2 pieces. iPhone just drops inside and top snaps on. Touch ID works great and screen protector really responsive. Swipe gestures are easier too.

But it's big. So big in fact it made me realise that the 6 Plus was too big for me. It's great, don't get me wrong, but 4.7" is a really nice size and will be sticking with that.

Will try to get some pics later. If anyone in the UK wants the case, it's free to a good home.

I guess its better to buy two cases one for the office which is much thinner and not bulky and one for outdoor activities such as mountain hiking and others

The pictures that I have seen so far of the Otterbox on the 6 just don't look good to me, the fit looks off. Hopefully when they release the 6 Plus model it'll fit better since they'll have an actual phone to fit it to!

I would love that Bric Plus in gold for my gold 6 Plus, the web site shows a picture of one in gold on a 5s but they only mention the 6, not the plus so I wonder if they're making one.

For now, I got a Case-Mate Naked Tough clear case for everyday use but I still want a rugged case for more protection when needed. My Case-Mate and tempered glass screen protector is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, we'll see because I can't seem to get any shipping information of off Verizon's site. If it looks good, I'll post pics. I am hoping the bumper on the Case-Mate will overlap the edge gap on the tempered glass protector, I'll hopefully find out tomorrow!

I'm waiting for an Otter Box Defender to try for my iPhone 6+ too... Right now I have the Ballistic Tough Case but it's gigantic and the tacky rubber corners make it impossible to put it in your pocket. I have a feeling the Defender is going to be really gigantic though...

I have the otter box on my IP6 and it does add bulk and width to the overall phone. The only negative is all the buttons are very hard to press. Look into the Pelican Voyager exclusively at AT&T. IMO a better protective case for now.

I just bought two(wife and I) Pelican Voyagers just an hour ago. Have not had a chance to try them out, I will when I get off work. I am currently using the Otterbox Defender for ip6, and also dissatisfied with it. As I was running from store to store today looking for a alternative to the Otterbox, I came across another person who was dissatisfied with the Otterbox, so it was sort of mini-grab fight to get something in hand before someone else grabbed them all up.

Interesting. Hoping my local AT&T store gets more Pelican stock in - looking for the white/gray model. Let us know your finding on the Pelican. Someone said the buttons are 100% better than the otter box.

Thanks for the reply mate. I've got a 6plus on order and used the survivor on my iPhone 5. I'm from the uk #

I'm not familiar with the Hit case so far been using Otterbox for my previous phone although bulky its a tough one

I've used a UAG case for over 2 years, if you buy one do it for the looks, not for any expected protection superiority. It is similar to cases from Spigen and such, just a plastic shell over a rubber inside (although, I do find the plastic part more rugged than Spigen's). The fit of the case on my 4S is also loose, not sure if it's designed that way to simplify insert/removal, or just a lack of fine measurement/manufacturing. Either way, the case works perfectly fine as a case, but is not nearly in the same league as something like an Otterbox or Pelican case.

Otterbox Symmertry

Does anyone have the Otterbox Symmetry iPhone 6 case or seen one? It doesn't seem as bulky as the other Otterbox cases, but it seems like people has issues with the other cases. I am trying to find a case that isn't too big but still protects the screen.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It does not protect the screen, only the Defender model does that.

Ballistic Tungsten Slim 6+

Picked one up at Best Buy ($34.99). It feels great in your hand and doesn't add much bulk, but seems very sturdy. So much more comfortable to use then naked! Wasn't thrilled with the slick hard back, but it is hard metal (might prevent the bending) and does make it easier to slide in and out of my pocket. Not a ton of open room on the bottom, but apple charger and pods fit fine. I posted pics in the "post pictures of your cases already" thread. Post #187.

This one is a little smaller than the one described above. And I liked the feel of it better. This one says it has a six foot drop test rating. Whatever that means!

I also have always had Otterbox or Lifeproof cases in the past. This feels just as sturdy (but doesn't cover your screen).
