They are rubber - just put my fingers all over them and no finger prints. You can get this case at AT&T, call before you go alot of stores are sold out of them. Case is made by a company that makes stuff for the military.

Pelican case is fairly thin too - way thinner then any otterbox or full body case I have ever seen. I will upload a side-view pic shortly.

Yes I heard about the Pelican I have a friend who is in the army and he uses this for his case... its durable they say

I saw the pelican the day before the launch but didn't bother picking it up since I had ordered a spigen air case or whatever it's called on Amazon. Now that I'm seeing numerous bend threads I'm seriously thinking about picking something more durable. The pelican didn't seem too bulky but I think it does make the phone bigger. Are there any other cases that have a mix between protection (more about protection from bending than drops) and without the major bulk?

I was thinking of also buying a wallet style but I think that wouldn't be enough protection from bending.

Seidio has a few cases out right now and their convert case is still under development. Element also has a few cases out. Hoping they release the a Ducati version for the 6.

Check these cases

1- Ballistic Hard Case
2- Otterbox Defender
3- Spigen Tough Armor
4- iBlason Armorbox

For me, I'll wait for the Lifeproof free when it comes out

With all the bend-gate concerns I would suggest getting something that doesn't bend as much. Especially for those of us who carry in our pockets.

UAG cases are the worst. Id prefer Spigen, Otterbox, Lifeproof, Ballistic all over them.

No. They are great cases. Durable and esthetically pleasing. Had them since the my iPhone 4. They have held up for at least a year for each case I have bought.

There are many fakes of the UAG cases. Buy it from them direct or Amazon shipped and sold by Amazon.

I'm looking for a case which protects the screen since I drop my phone's quite often . What case would be the best ?

Speck Candyshell is very nice. The case is durable and offers great protection.

Griffin Survivor or Otterbox Defender are two of the best known with inbuilt screen protectors available at the moment.

The Incipio Atlas also has a screen protector, is waterproof and less bulky but usually more expensive and isn't available right now.

I think the Otterbox Commuter would be perfect due to the hard plastic outer shell. That's the case I'm going to go with.

Well thanks for raining on my parade. I'm at work so can you give me cliffs of the issues?

Well if I remember the guy from Canada (something-eh?) did a review of the Symmetry (which he said doubled the width and was hard to use one-handed) mentioned the Commuter was a total bust and was doing a video on it - this was two days ago. Hope that helps.

Pelican?

Imac Sam,

Any feedback yet on the two Pelican cases you got?

I was going for an Otterbox Defender, but based on many reviews regarding problems with the fit, the buttons, and the screen protector (including your review at the Otterbox website), I'm now looking for alternatives.

Thank you.

Cheers,
