BTW, for anyone interested in the "classic" design for the Caudabe Sheath, they are live now on their website...Just ordered the black version...I'll report on it once it arrives...

https://www.caudabe.com/collections/iphone-x-accessories

Ordered one, i regretted selling my original Sheath for X, it was slimmest with best grip case i have had.

Code NEWSTUFF works for 20% off, I had to pay $6.95 DHL delivery to Australia. 7-9 days.

Got my silicone case today. Only had it on for a couple hours. I do like the finish but man everything gets on the case. It comes off easy enough though. I’ll test drive it a few days to see how I like it. I feel like I like the less grippy texture of the Sheath just cuz the texture was interesting. I dunno.

Maybe I’ll just go back to my K11.

Silicones drive me crazy because they turn my work pockets inside out lol

My friend at work has a black one and his isn’t nearly as linty. He said to give it a couple weeks. So imma try it and see.
It shouldn't be that bad, unless the material of your pockets are very linty or just overly dusty?

When I had it on mine (black), simply blowing the case removed much of the dust.

My SolidSuit for iPhone X started peeling today too... I contacted them about it, so I hope they will offer a good solution! Let’s see...

A little update, with the new "classic" version of the sheath out, I contacted Caudate and they agreed to switch. I sent the other one back yesterday and to their credit, they already shipped me the classic in black. I like the look of that one much better. Hoping for a slightly tighter fit

I had a Sheath (along with a Veil XT) on my 6S and was disappointed when Caudabe released their original X Sheath. I bought one anyway along with another XT and switch them out often. The XT is superior to its predecessor as it has better grip. The new Sheath Classic is much more in keeping with Apple's design philosophy and should have been released when the X came out... not sure why Caudabe designers thought that silly box on top was a good idea. I'll bet they don't sell many of the them now that the Classic is available.

I don't know what they could do other than offer to replace it...but that one will probably peel later too.

Yeah, I asked them to either give my money back or send me a new one that won’t peel (don’t know how they will do that, but that’s up to them).

Received the Caudabe Sheath Classic version today. Have had the previous version for a while. The Classic seems to have better grip; of course that could be because I was accustomed to the old one and it may have smoothed out a little. Overall I’m very happy. Shipping was fast too.

Is it a very thin case for the X.
I had the same case for the 6s plus and the 7 plus and they are the best by far for me.

It is thicker than the Caudabe Veil, but I would say thinner (at least in overall feel) to Apple’s silicone cases.

I'm currently looking for slim and drop tested case,

currently in mind is UAG plasma due to the lightweight . is there any other recommendation besides UAG?
or should I just stick with UAG plasma?

currently using X-doria Defense , feel bulky and heavy.

Mine just came today. Currently on my phone. Still not a tight fit, like my Presidio, but this design is far better than the other imo.

Got my Sheath "Classic" today as well...Really like it. Pretty much identical to the original Sheath except for the back design...which I like much better. If you already own the original Sheath, buying the "classic" version will just get you the redesigned back...but everything else is the same...Partnered with the iCarez 3D screen protector...

Also got my Sheath in today (non classic). Was using the Rhinoshield Solidsuit for the past few weeks and although it definitely won’t proivde that much protection, it feels THAT much better that id take my chances with the Sheath.

The rhinoshield feels huge and is actually a lot wider than the Sheath. Really loving the grip, wish the buttons were more clicky though. Let’s hope it survives a drop.
