Hi!

There is an UAG PLASMA case right now on my phone.
Now, I would like to buy a UAG PLYO case.

Is the PLYO as good as the PLASMA?

Thanks for your comments.

The New APPLE Silicone Blue Horizon case seems like the Blue case I've always dreamed of! Cannot wait to get it.

Ill add that I’ve had
My Apple leather case ate a SERIOUS fall last night. Leather is gouged in three of the four corners and there’s a huge gouge across the back. My X is still perfect.

Take it for what you will.
I’ll add... I had Another high quality leather and when it fell, the leather splits from the corner. I’m told it was by design to protect phone. My Apple leather folio has some gouges from falls but still looks good. I’m afraid the folio might be to clumsy for the Max so might go leather with a sfbags sleeve for bag protection.

I just put in an order for a Tangerine case and watch band, hoping that they're a good "fall" orange instead of being feminine, since I missed out on Spicy Orange.

just got the Caudabe Sheath for the iPhone X, and....wow. It’s the most finely engineered TPU case I’ve ever had/seen.

Super grippy texture, very thin (thinner than apple silicone), perfect fit with no squeaks, wobbles or loose sides/corners, full bottom coverage (not ideal on the X, since u swipe up all the time, but nice to have the coverage), and looks amazing.

I’ll post pics here later, but I’m so impressed I had to come from the shadows to post this thumbs up! Highly recommended! I’ll keep my eye on it for wear and deformity and post back if any issues.

Grey looks great too.

The sheath case has always been a sure value for me.
Bought it for my 6S plus, my 7 plus and my X

Anyone like the Caudabe Synthesis? My wife is getting an Xs and when I showed her the Sheath she said she preferred the Synthesis. I think color was a factor... lol. Honestly I haven’t heard much about the Synthesis and I’m trying to encourage her to get the Mous Limitless since she drops her phone a lot.

I’ve been using the Sheath on my 6s for over a year and love it. I ordered one for my XS, but am concerned about the bottom lip interfering with swiping. To help with this, I also ordered the iCarez 3D screen protector. Can you (or anyone else) vouch for this helping with smooth swiping?

I use the Sheath with my iPhone X. It doesn’t interfere with swiping at all.

Can anyone who owns an iPhone X silver with an Apple leather or silicon case post a pic, especially a black case but any will do? I want to see how the shiny stainless steel looks at the bottom if it’s too flashy or distracting. Thanks!

The Sheath and Veil cases for the X are second-to-none when it comes to the grip texture. I really hope they replicate this for the new iPhone models. The one I have for my work iPhone 8 (which is technically for the 7) have the older, smoother texture.

Yeah, I’m quite amazed actually. It’s even a little too close to perfection, I’m reluctant to use it too often because the rest of my cases will never get used!

Also, agreed that the lip BARELY affects swiping. Less than any case I’ve had with a bottom lip, for sure.

I’m excited for the better grip! My 6s case is definitely slippery.

I’m upgrading from a silver 8 Plus to a Space Gray Xs and putting a black Apple leather case on it. So exited. It’s gonna be super stealth! Ready to ditch the white bezels and experience the X/Xs.

Can anyone clarify, do last years X cases fit on the Xs? I suppose I could be proactive and investigate both dimensions of them. But if anyone knows, it’s appreciated. Thanks.

As I posted a few times here, my favourite X case is the Nomad Rugged. Nomad has released their new cases. Some nice folios too, but most important for me: a new Rugged. It’s 33% thinner now!

If anyone buys one, please let me know how good or bad the case is (compared to the old one). I really want the new one, but I am trying to resist it...

Is the caudabe sheath better or pitaka ones?

Can’t advise. Once I got the Caudabe cases, I never looked for anything else. I am not a fan of the carbon fiber design on the comparable Pitaka, so hopefully someone else can offer a comparison.

The pitaka case is carbon, so it’s super rigid and strong. It’s probably going to protect the back of the phone better in the case of high force or torque, than the caudabe sheath. However it will also transmit more shock to the phone becasue its so rigid, which may be bad for internals. The Sheath is a TPU material, so much more shock resistant.

However, one key and fatal drawback of Pitaka is that there is NO lip for screen protection on the case, which is a total deal breaker for me, as I don’t use a screen protector.

The caudabe has the lip, so it’s safe face down on most surfaces and in pocket (with screen side OUT) prevents micro scratches and hazing of the oleophobic coating. Its not as deep of a lip as the apple silicone case, but thats the story with this case, which is about 10-15% thinner in every dimension from the apple silicone case. Except for the bottom of course, which has full coverage.

Do you know of a case with a higher front lip?
