How is the caudable veil Xt? Doesn’t say about drop protection.
It won't offer much drop protection as it's a very thin case, it's mainly for those looking to avoid getting minor scratches on their phone and prefer a more minimal type case

I'm using the Speck Presidio Sport and I love it. It's the best I've tried so far. I like that it has a knob for the silence switch so it's really easy to toggle. It's such an awesome features. The only other case that I know of that has this knob is from Catalyst. The other cases have recesses for the switch and I've found those difficult to access. My only gripe about this case is that the rubber is super grippy. That is awesome for handling, but it makes it a pain to get in and out of your pocket.

I also have a SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro for my iPad and it's fantastic as-is. Because of this I ordered one for my iPhone Xs Max. It is a nice case, but there are some issues and I will most likely be returning it.
1. The silence button is under a cover and it's very difficult to access IMO.
2. The plastic screen protector doesn't fit tight against the screen and it feels horrible to use.
3. The case separates right near the silence switch. It's aesthetically annoying, collects dirt, and I'm afraid it'll get worse over time.

Lastly, I've tried a UAG Pathfinder SE Camo. I bought this case because I had one on my Galaxy S3 and I loved it. It looked great, felt great, and it survived drops. The version for the Xs Max isn't as great. First, the camo looks nothing like the photo. The light grey was actually cream when it arrived. Ew! The lip is tiny and I wouldn't trust that the screen wouldn't contact the ground during a fall. And the material between the silence switch recess and the front of the case is very thin and looks prone to failure. This case is also going to be returned.

How does it fit on the X?
Fits Perfect no complaints!

Are they Grippy? I'm looking for a smooth type of case that won 't slip out of my hands.

I have a Speck Grip but is kinda bulky and gets a little hard to get out of my pockets because of the raised edges.

1st, I don't know what TPU is...I'm after a smooth type case that is very grippy in the hand. Would the TPU material be more or less Grippy than an Apple Silicone Material?

Does lip size matter?

Mix of grippy and smooth! I dont believe it will slip out of your hands unless you have dry hands a lot. But the fit is perfect and have no complaints.

Looks good except for the Nomad branding on the back, i have had their Black AW sport band on a S2 for 18 months and love it, so much better than the apple sport bands. Using it on new S4 now too.
The branding is a slight downside indeed, especially since all their other cases don’t have that (one the outside). However, I am still considering buying one...

I probably will too, i have been using their Rugged sport band for AW the last 18 mths and love it.

I would like to know what the buttons are like on the their new leather Max case?

I can't say anything about the buttons on that case, since I don't have one. However, I have the 'old' Rugged for iPhone X and the buttons are very clicky!

Been using the rugged case on my xs max and the buttons are much easier to press than the old versions of this case.

Is the difference in thickness noticable between the old and new version? They say it’s 33% thinner...

yes, its very noticeable, in my opinion. makes it much nicer to use, always thought the older one was a bit to rugged.

I now have the old version for my X, and I am really thinking about buying the new version or maybe their new Carbon case... Hard to choose!

Received the Otterbox Statement in Jade for my silver Xs. Fit is perfect, good grip, buttons are responsive, good protection without bulk. Looks stunning.

Hello everyone!

I'm new here and as my nickname says i love iphones!

I currently have 2 of them (8,X) and i am willing to buy the XS soon!

My iphone8 currently drop off my hands and the screen broke right n the middle..:(:(

Recently i discover a site, they give away screen protectors for free and they ask only for shipping!

Also they have really cool phone cases with huge discounts and free worldwide shipping but not many for XS yet..

Do you have any experience with them? You can check here: https://cutesmartphonecases.com/

Although I don’t order as many cases as some here...I have another one coming today, the last thing I need is to start checking out more cases to scramble the remaining brain cells left!

The way it’s going with me, when the new one arrives today I’ll probably find something wrong with it and jump back in and continue the search for the unicorn case!

Even though I’ve had my iPhone X since Jan now I’ve decided I’m not upgraded treated myself to an apple leather Case - gone for the Taupe colour I think it’s called

I did the same thing for the same reason, except I got the Apple Silicone case in midnight blue. That lasted a little over a week and I'm back to my midnight blue leather case (which has patina'd to the point that it looks black).

It just gives a bit more of a premium feel to in my eyes a premium phone with added protection

Decuddd to go for Taupe for something different and think it’ll be interesting to see how it ages

I'm using the Apple Black Silicone Case since day one; the leather cases look and feel more premium, but I regularly get my iPhone wet (shower, rain, etc) and therefore the silicone case is perfect. I also love its quality and how soft it is inside.

Tried one of the UAG Monarch, too, it looked absolutely fab but was just a bit too thick for my taste.
