Just got the Caudabe lucid clear based on reviews here. I used their 20% discount. If only I saw this and used the 25% discount instead!

Oh no, I did post it a couple of times but the forum is so busy they got buried pretty quickly. 20% is still a good deal though! Hope you like the case, I'm very pleased with mine. :)

I used MacMike2017 for a 25% discount at Caudabe recently. Just tried and it still works. :)

Thanks for this! I had the lucid clear crystal and rose gold cases in my cart with the 20% discount, but used MacMike2017 and got 25%.

I'm looking for a case that keeps the form factor but also ensures some drop protection through raised lip on the front of the phone. Been using an Apple Leather Case for the past 3y on my 6 Plus, which is still in the running to be my daily driver, but some change would be welcome.

Anyone have any experience with the VRS Design Single Fit Case (https://www.bol.com/nl/p/vrs-design.../9200000082844775/?suggestionType=typedsearch) or the Patchworks Level ITG one (https://www.patchworksonline.com/level-itg)?

I've been going through numerous threads in making sure I get the right protection for my expensive phone, but any other recommendations would be more than welcome!

I'm waiting for the Rhinoshield Mod to come out. I ordered this Trianium case from amazon for $11. I saw it was one of the most popular ones for iPhone 7 and 8 so may as well have a cheap one until the Mod is out.

Attempting caseless (with insurance) for the first iPhone ever as the glass is not as slippery as 6S+. But I am using dual screen protectors which I’ve linked below

iPhone X Screen Protector Front + Premium Back, KuGi Full Coverage Curved Tempered Glass Protector [Bubble Free] [Scratch Resistant], Fit for iPhone X Smartphone, Transparent https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B074XPWNX6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_jpy7zbC574EQQ

Interesting concept. I like the idea of not having to use a case at all and protect the back with a glass protector in stead. It will reduce the bulk. I've ordered this as well and may or may not try it out. Hopefully it works well as then I don't have to get a case.

Still haven’t decided myself but want something in leather.... last year I got the shell case from nodus but wasn’t impressed with the quality at all, although the magnetic docking was a nice addition.

Has anyone found any premium options alternatives to Nodus and Apples own offerings??

Be wary that some cases have a lip all around including in the bottom to protect the screen from getting scratched. However, on the X you want to not have a lip in the bottom so that you can swipe up on the virtual home button without bumping into the case’s lip.

Reason I’m sticking with the Apple ones.

Someone asked about the Patchworks Level ITG case. I got the white/grey one to semi match my silver X. It feels really good in the hand and has a grip texture on the sides like the Silk Base Grip that I have on my phones now. In fact the Patchworks one compared to the Silk one is in my opinion is made better and feels more solid (for the X versions. I can't speak of it for the 8-8+ versions). The Patchworks has a nice lip on it as well.

Apple folio (berry) as well as a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case for me. But I must say I just loooove the Kate Spade case - absolutely girly-gorgeous. I might grab one of those as well later on. :D

I like the Apple silicone ones, looking on Amazon UK, seems to be a lot now similar at a 1/4 of the price so going to try one. Torras etc. I prefer the microfibre inner for protection as well.

However what do people think of the full covered surround of all these cases for the X and a lip whereby we have to swipe up form the bottom a lot now. I'm thinking Apple have best idea where the bottom is open for the swipe, so I'm playing safe and going with cases like that for now.

Yeah I agree. I have bough several cases. A Totallee in white, the Torras flexi TPU and the Torras Silicon case which is a replica of the Apple case and it feels real quality with a nice thick microfibre lining and no lip at the bottom. Thats the one i will be initially rocking as I think that lip at the bottom may be a problem for swiping up.
I also ordered a really nice leather sleeve in case i want to go naked. I emailed the guy and asked if he could do it cheaper and he temporarily reduced the price by 55% percent to £15 so i could place and order

[doublepost=1509294948][/doublepost]If you want a leather case with no bottom lip, this might be worth a punt at just a tenner. Good reviews so far.
