I'm really liking the X-Doria Defense Lux. They are pretty low profile, seem protective, look good, and feel well made. They also got rid of the metal bumper that added weight and looked crappy after dropping it.

I have the Liquid Crystal on my 7Plus. It yellows over time and you have to clean the dust off the inside of the case often. But if neither of those bother you, it is a great case. Has a good feel and protective.

Here are close look of 5 different apple cases, 2 leathers (Red, Saddle Brown) and 3 Silicones (Ultra Violet, Rose Red, Dark Olive).
The Dark Olive arrived earlier than they original stated, however, the color is off compare to the website, I can barely see and tone of green. A little disappointed with it, but other colors look pretty good.
I also have the Hoco replica leather ones I just received, will upload pictures or videos soon.

1st, Thanks for posting the video.

I need/want a case that is not slippery in the hand. Do the Silicones feel grippy or slippy?

Wish I could find a thin case with ridges made of rubber or a rubber case.

Ok everyone here's my X-Doria defense shield I ordered from Amazon in the iridescent color. I actually only ordered one for my iPhone X and when it arrived there were four in the package. Their mistake is my gain I'm not fooling with sending them back, I don't have time for all that. At any rate the box says they are for iPhone 8 but the cutouts on the case are obviously iPhone X with the camera positioning. The inside of the box shows an Iphone X as the model used so who knows until Friday if this actually fits my X. Case seems study and the edge is iridescent changing colors depending on the light much like a hologram would. Posting in case anyone else was considering an X-Doria product.

Are the edges grippy?

I hope the video helps!
I think the silicone case is grippy, actually was one of the reason I didn’t like it before. I found it has too much resistance when I pull out from my pocket. So that might be something you prefer(will not slide around easily).

Yep, I want friction if that makes sense.

The case in this link looks a lot like the Apple version but probably not as well built??--> https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pr...577.html?spm=2114.12010612.0.0.7bd52d1eN2SxnG

If this case didn't get dirty so quickly it would be my go to case.
agreed. wife had one on her 5 and it got dirty very quickly. i have the mujjo leather case arriving tomorrow and i hope it wears better over time.

i do like the back of the nomad case with the horween leather...but not thrilled with a lot of the plastic on it. might try it if the mujjo doesn’t work out.

The quality is not bad at all, but durability wise need to be test to find out.

I’ll take some close up pictures

I have pre-ordered this case. The most beautiful case that is available now imo

That is nice. Simple and unfussy.

Washing your hands more often would help, also applying a quality leather cleaner and then conditioning it once in a while will help a lot. You do this with you cars leather seats, right? Why not clean and condition your leather case?

Fair enough. My bigger issue is that they scratch so easily though. That is difficult to manage other than put another cover on top !

Excellent, I went from 98% to 100% and actually ordered it yesterday! Tech Armor was OOS, and I wasn't sure how long a direct order would take, so after a little research, I wound up ordering amFilm product from TechMatte (that seemed to be the exact same type of screen protector).

Received :)

Not much to see, but here's a pic :D

I bought the Tozo clear case with silver rim and the Caudabe Lucid Clear in crystal. Will update once I get my phone on Friday.

Also, for anyone curious, I've bought knock off Apple cases for my 7 Plus from aliexpress before. In my experience, the leather ones were just as good as the Apple ones but the silicone versions fell apart in a matter of weeks.

Purchased the Spigen Liquid Air case. Should do well until I get the Apple saddleback brown leather case and a Magpul case.

I really need to stop buying cases. Just ordered the ringke fusion and air because I can’t tell what the difference is, and they were only £6 each. Hoping they will be slimmer than the spigen ultra hybrid which seems a bit chunky.

So when they arrive I’ll have
- caudabe lucid clear
- spigen ultra hybrid
- spigen liquid crystal
- ringke fusion
- ringke air

Oh and a front/rear tempered glass protector in case I go semi-naked. Or buy applecare+ and go fully naked..
Ringke all the way for me. Cheap, durable, grippy, and I've dropped my 6+, 7+ plenty of times with no damage to the phone, only the case. Bought one waiting for Friday.

Also going to try the MagBak this time though. I have a metal plate in my Ringke now and attach it to a magnetic base in my car and really like that but don't want to mess up the wireless charging, so trying the MagBak to see. Already have it and it really doesn't seem to be all that thick, considering it has magnets in it:

Yup! Returning it! Using the Spigen till I get the
iPhone X Case Ultra Hybrid S and maybe the Brown leather Apple case if I can find it Vegas this weekend!
Don’t bother with this case. I ordered it and doesn’t even look like the picture and feels cheaply made.
