Thanks for the excellent review of this case. I ordered the Gunmetal Gray version yesterday and you just solidified for me that I made a good choice. I've never used Moshi cases before, but I also ordered the Vesta in Herringbone Gray and the Vitros in Jet Silver. Can't wait for them to arrive. Like you, I suspect the Stealthcover will be my favorite.

I'm sure you'll love it. Please let us know what you think when it arrives, I'm quite interested to see how the gunmetal looks in the flesh too. :)

This case from Kanjian has become my favorite case.

Anker KARAPAX Touch case

It has a nice texture to it and good grip. Hugs the phone tight and doesn't as much bulk. It also has a good lip to it even with a glass protector. It is also semi-transparent. Buttons are great as well as port openings. It has a slightly raised bezel on the back for the camera. They have two colors Grey and Silver. I liked the Grey over the Silver.

$5.50 shipped for me with a code from Slickdeals

Love those glitter cases, but at $99, no thanks... ya can’t beat $12 cases on Amazon when your binge shopping for that perfect case. I have to admit that this Spigen case feels just as nice as the Speck if not better and for a fraction of the cost

They do have it in the black/clear with leather at the bottom. It’s only at Apple though.

Love, love, love this case!

Right now I have the Caseology Skyfall case on my iPhone. I also bought the Spigen Neo Hybrid. Protection seems great, but both are a littl5e bit too bulky for my taste.
Next week the TOZO PC+TPU Hybrid Ultra-Thin arrives (http://www.tozostore.com/product/ph...bsorption-back-transparent-bumper-white-edge/) and I also preordered the Twelve South RelaxedLeather. (https://www.twelvesouth.com/product/relaxedleather-for-iphone)
Maybe I’ll stop by the Apple Store next week and try the Apple leather case...
I was pretty sure to use the iPhone without a case until I saw the service fees for screen repairs and other damage :(

How’s this case holding up?
[doublepost=1511115933][/doublepost]This guy’s reviews are really good, he’s just starting to review X cases:

Anyone with spigen cases noticing an extremely tight fit? I thought I was going to break my phone getting several of them off.

This is a sleeve, which is pretty pointless. So you're going to take it in and out of the sleeve every time you use your phone? You would be hoping that when you drop the phone it's in the sleeve, and not one of the numerous times you have it out.

And the sleeve totally covers up the phone. You can't even check the time.

But enjoy your nice pieces of leather.

I have one and it works pretty well for protecting the phone from sand or other abrasions in the pocket. I can rest my phone on it when it’s out. I don’t have a problem when it’s out because I’m not an utter clutz like everyone else appears to be. As for telling the time, seeing whose calling etc. I have an Apple Watch.

I’m returning my Apple leather Case today ... I feel like it’s a bit of a chore to have this case. Not much protection I can’t get it wet, I commute from the city so I like to sanitize my phone when I get home and I can’t do it with this Case and I hate the slippery feel to it. I just got the Caudabe sheath in and I’m in love with the feel of it!
Can you post pics?

Facepalm.. this is spiraling out of control.
Why do you do this to yourself man?:D

I've owned the 3GS/5/6S & bought 4 cases - the only mistake was a case for the 6S that had a Credit Card holder, which turned out to be too thick. Other than that, the cases have been spot on & lasted the years I had the phone for.

Feeling for ya. ;)

Btw, that unpacked one on the top left looks interesting. Apple case clone?

Don't know about the case (not minimalist enough for me), but that lock screen would annoy me every time I tried to make out the time/date on the thing.

Will it definitely scuff the stainless steel? I don’t switch out my cases that often. It’s EverythingApplePro’s go to case. And much cheaper than the Mason M5, which has no camera protection.
I can imagine it'll scuff it as it's a bit of a squeeze to get in (on the iPhone 7 at least) but if you're careful putting it on and don't take it off you might be fine. It was my go to case on my 7, very slim and nice texture, but with the exposed top and bottom as well as no lip, I've had serious second thoughts about getting it for the X.

I had mostly Apple silicone cases for three years on both 6 Plus and 6s Plus (between them both something like 8 cases in total, including a very girly Swarovski one). This year with the X I'll go leather and transparent. But I can't vouch for next year :D

Just got the Caudabe Sheath in Navy today. It's a nice, understated case which feels solid and secure in the hand. Cutouts for lightning port, speakers and mute switch are precise. Covers for the power and volume buttons are firm and tactile.

The case is a good thickness - not bulky and not too thin with absolutely no flex when installed. The area around the lightning port is reinforced with a little extra thickness. The texture is a very fine matte, grain material which makes it comfortable to grip but doesn't affect the ability to slide in/out of pockets. The carbon fibre accent beside the camera is glossy and smooth and offers a nice pop of style on an otherwise plain case. Branding on the side and at the bottom of the rear is small and discrete.

There is a raised lip around the front to protect the screen. This does not impede performing gestures, but does feel a little bit sharp when moving a finger across as there is a seam here. There was a slight touch of wear along the top edge straight out of the box, so I suspect this may be the first part to suffer from wear and tear.

The camera is protected with a fractionally higher lip than elsewhere - this is so minimal it won't result in rocking when laid flat but still means the lens will not come into contact with the surface.

Some of my close-up pics looks purple, but I can assure you the blue on the full case shots are truer to colour. In low light, it actually looks black! :D I've also got a red one on the way which should arrive next week.

This is my second Caudabe case (first being a Lucid Clear) and I'm very happy with it. I think I'll be going back for a Synthesis soon! :D
How does this case compare to the Apple silicone case as it pertains to grip and protection? What made you choose blue over the black?

I think the Sheath has better grip as I always found the apple silicone cases were a bit slippery. The apple cases are Also open at the bottom, so risk of getting it scratched or knocked is higher than with the caudabe case. I have the case in black and it looks awesome. Very thin and stylish, my favourite case by far at the moment.
