I thought everyone might like to see some pics of the Sena Corsa II Racing Stripe leather snap on case in blue/black that I ordered a few days ago.

I really like the feel of it. It has more grip than the Apple leather cases. I like the feel of the metal buttons as well, but I think they stick out just a little bit too much but I think I can live with that. What I'm not sure I can live with is the rather large opening around the camera. I'm afraid dirt/dust is going to find its way inside the case through that gap.

That's a beautiful case.

Otterbox Defender, used on every iPhone and works well for me. That said, this is the first defender case I've seen with no in-built screen protector.

Well I said no more cases for a while, but I was passing the iStore in town yesterday and couldn't resist nipping in for a look. They had one of the cases on my shortlist - the Moshi Stealthcover in champagne pink. So I grabbed it of course. :D

I have to say I think I've found my perfect case. All-round protection while still looking feminine. The frame is a soft-feel, rubberised plastic - in bright light, you can see there is a little bit of embedded glitter. The front and rear are pearlescent plastic and the hinge is a metallic leatherette fabric. There is a bold, magnetic clasp which complements the phone and additionally gives a smooth little edge to rest a finger on. It looks really elegant and classy.

Moshi does not state what the materials actually are, but it is supposed to have certified military-grade drop protection.

The case fits snugly and the front cover doesn't wiggle about when secured shut. The metallic clasp feels strong. At the rear, the case is completely flat and sits higher than the camera lens, thus protecting it without rocking when laid down. The power button feels responsive, but the volume ones are mushier when the case is closed due to having the fabric hinge over them. The mute switch is only accessible with the case open.

When open, the left side of the phone is exposed with the exception of the corners. I like this as it shows off the silver frame and ensures edge swiping feels beautifully smooth. Over to the right, the clasp is lower than the screen, so swiping on that side also feels lovely. It's a great way to feel a bit of naked iPhone!

When the cover is folded behind the case, it still feels comfortable to hold even with one hand. Unfortunately, the magnet doesn't touch the clasp in this position and is therefore not held in place. When closing, I love that I can flip the cover over and hit the power button all with one hand.

Unique to this case is the ability to see the screen through the cover. Because the front camera area is not covered, Face ID works fine, so you can see your notifications in detail without opening it up. The cover has quite a strong frosting effect, so the display doesn't come through very bright (see below photo for an example) but it's clear enough for you to decide if you need to open it and take action, or just check the time.

It's not a particularly bulky case and the phone feels very comfortable in the hand. I usually like to wrap my hand completely around a case during use, which isn't possible with a folio style. There is surprisingly good grip at the back meaning it doesn't feel like it's going to slip despite the less secure hold.

Wireless charging works perfectly.

Over time, I suspect the fabric hinge will wear and the frame will probably scuff a bit. I have seen one other post mention the front cover scratches easily.

For those not keen on the girly colour, they do make a gunmetal version.

Currently, it's not available to buy on Amazon here in the UK, but can be ordered directly through Moshi's own website here:

https://www.moshi.com/stealthcover-for-iphone-x

If you have an Albion iStore nearby, they have them in stock in both colours.

Those of you in the US can buy the pink from Amazon (gunmetal doesn't seem to be available):

Not sure anyone has mentioned this, but it looks like a Pitaka case.

Got one for my iPhone 7, but I wouldn't dare get this for the X as it'll scuff the stainless steel band for sure just by putting it on and taking it off.

Will it definitely scuff the stainless steel? I don’t switch out my cases that often. It’s EverythingApplePro’s go to case. And much cheaper than the Mason M5, which has no camera protection.

Incipio NGP Pure clear case here. Great crip and clarity with this case and there is a lip unlike some other clear cases.

Thanks for the excellent review of this case. I ordered the Gunmetal Gray version yesterday and you just solidified for me that I made a good choice. I've never used Moshi cases before, but I also ordered the Vesta in Herringbone Gray and the Vitros in Jet Silver. Can't wait for them to arrive. Like you, I suspect the Stealthcover will be my favorite.

Just got the ringke fusion. I think It’ll do the trick for a while but the gap around the camera cutout is a bit too big for my liking. Maybe I’m just being picky. Aside from that it’s a great case, has a raised lip on the front that doesn’t bother me for the gestures. It’s a bit thicker than I expected, but coming from a plus model the added width is almost welcomed. Might just bite the bullet and get my first apple leather cases. The saddle brown and the gray look beautiful and might make it on the list for “dressed up” occasions.
